My husband and I stayed here for one night. We were one of two couples in the hotel and the owners could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Upon arrival we were shown a selection of beautiful rooms and picked out favourite. The rooms are all well equipped, modern whilst retaining charm. Their was plenty of quality... More

Bath Lodge Castle is about 10 miles from the center of Bath in the beautiful quiet countryside. This is a miniature castle (probably not really old but I have no idea). Exceptionally clean. The sheets were very smooth and soft. Absolutely no complaints. We highly recommend staying here. We toured Bath, Avebury, Stonehenge, Castle Combe, Glastonbury and Shaftsbury from here.... More

We had a long weekend at the Castle. A perfect base for exploring Bath and for the family wedding. A nice boutique feel about it....not stayed in a castle before! It was great weather so we especially loved the terrace, and the surrounding garden and woodland walks. Owners and staff were friendly and welcoming. We would come back.

For everyone who wants to stay in a castle with their kids, this place is fantastic fun. Great customer service (Wayne seemed to be everywhere at all times!), good food, a nice nature walk, hot-tub, and of course, it's a castle! The family room worked perfectly for our family (2 adults, 2 young children) with a completely separate room for... More

Booked this Hotel for my wife's special birthday! I am pleased to say that it ticked ALL the boxes and we had an amazing stay in the castle Windsor room. Our room was cosy, comfy and above all had our own private battlement balcony complete with chairs allowing us to sit and chat whilst enjoying a bottle or two watching... More

We received an excellent welcome from Wayne and were shown to our Superior room (no.10) which was in an annexe added to the main castle. First impressions were great with a beautiful bathroom and trendy four poster bed. However, the bedroom was small with no chairs and there was a very small TV in the corner which couldn't be seen... Unfortunately occasionally guests arrive who may be perfectly decent people but who appear, for reasons unknown to us, rather miserable and unappreciative. By contrast, others, fortunately a much larger proportion, arrive in a happy and positive frame of mind, are appreciative of the efforts that our team make for their wellbeing and leave even happier than when they arrived. The... More

Brian, You and your wife were delightful guests, who made your stay here enjoyable not merely for yourselves but for the staff and the other guests as well. We look forward very much to welcoming you again. You stayed with us at the same time as Mrs Sandra Fairclough, whose review is above yours and who appears (now that I... More

Lovely hotel, great rooms, lovely grounds, food and service top! Had a really lovely night and would like to say thank you very much to everyone at Bath Castle Lodge. Our room had an amazing balcony overlooking the grounds and a shower in one of the turrets of the castle. Truly special!
