Tachibanaya is a traditional ryokan with its own garden, onsen and Okami. The building looks like it could need a fresh coat of paint from the outside but the interior is clean, well maintained and it looks new. I like the traditional Japanese feel in the building.

Lovely location. Great hot springs. Great view from our room of river and mountains. Local market nearby.
We came here after climbing Dewa Sanzan. We stayed at the summit of Mt Gassan the night before, so we were ready for some luxury.
