From external appearances, it looks like the hotel is in a clearance site. I think it's on a new bypass on the wrong side of the tracks. It is also very sparingly built without decoration inside or out.
I'd definitely recommend it now while it is new but I'm unsure how well it will age.

Western style business hotel right next to station. Perfectly adequate but nothing exciting. Easy walk into town and to Hikone Castle.

We had a large twin room which may have been the largest room in the hotel. It had plenty of space for the 2 armchairs, Coffee table and twin beds which were of double size.
Beds were firm ( I like) and very comfortable.
Breakfast was included in the room price.
