Nice, very clean hotel. Friendly staff. They speak English at the reception. The rooms are little, but you have everything you need for a good price. We stayed there for a week and we got everyday the same Western breakfast. That is the only thing I didn't like. The hotel is in front of the station and that is perfect... More

The Kishibe Station Hotel is located at the suburban location thus not very convenient for travelers. It is located close to the subway station and the rate was very reasonable which include breakfast. The staffs were extremely nice and friendly which makes us felt so welcome. They even provide small facial packs for ladies which is quite attentive. The hotel... More

We drove to this hotel and parked our car for a reasonable 1,000 yen per night. It was quite old fashioned but fine. The staff at this hotel were so friendly, they spoke in Japanese so I am not sure if they speak English but there were signs in English and it was easy to follow what they were saying.... More

This hotel is closed to Kishibe Station. You can walked down from station and faced to the hotel and it took 7mins from Osaka Station via Kyoto Local Line. If you plan to travel at Kyoto and Osaka, this hotel was perfect location for. The room was cheaper and bigger than other hotel in same price. All facilities were useful.... More

Close to subway station, only reason I chose this place. Room was very small, felt like the room was a kids room. Bathroom reminded me of the bathroom in my RV, not a big deal. No wifi in room, but had ethernet cable connection. I made one local phone call and was charged $3.25, it was local for sure, about... More

I was the first English reviewer of this hotel back in 2009. I stay here regularly and during my most recent stay, I must say I am very disappointed. First, and I'm very sad to say this, customer service has taken a nose dive. The staff have all changed since my last stay 2 years ago. The current staff simply... More

During our 2 week trip in Japan (Tokyo - Kyoto - Nara - Osaka), this hotel was my absolute fave. We were in Osaka for 3 nights and stayed all nights at the hotel. There is nothing not to like about the place. It's charming, the people are nice and the room has a sitting space with little origami papers... More

Pluses: 1 min walk from metro station; amazing staff, clean/tidy decent size rooms (compared to Japan standards), plethora of shops/restaurants nearby..all in all nothing to complaint about. Minuses: 10-15 min away from central Osaka (Osaka station/Umeda) which has access to key tourist sites.

If you're traveling by train in Japan, Kishibe Station Hotel is just one minute walk from the Kishibe Station. But I wouldn't say they have the best location because everywhere I go in Osaka, I need to change train in Osaka Station (Umeda Station). If you want easy access to main tourist sites in Osaka, you'd better find a hotel... More
