The potential to be a top Ritz property is there, but they have some details to fix first. Check-in is painless but disappointing. While waiting for the room key they present the restaurant menus on something of a hard sell to a captive audience. I think the people arriving know in advance if they're going to spend hundreds of vacation... More

Felt more like we were visiting rich family than paying for accommodations. The Ritz-Carlton in Okinawa is a more relaxed and relaxing version of the Ritz in either Tokyo or Osaka. We had a great 5 days with our four kids (ages 3-9) in early May, 2015. The architectural design is a wonderful synthesis of luxury with island culture. It's... More

We are a group of five visited Ritz 19-22 Mar. We spent a couple days in town area (Naha) then move to Nago for some relaxation. When you park your car at the hotel they don't even give you a ticket or anything cause they just remember everyone of you when you come back, impressive!!! Basically all Japanese people are... We are a Bristish/ Spanish family, we travelled there for a short family vacation from Hong Kong with our 3 year old. The rooms were perfect, the restaurants lovely, the staff so pleasant and helpful, really special service. Nice golf course, indoor pool big enough to play around, superb spa, I had a couple of treatments which were really good.... More

Ritz Carlton is one of the very few international brand hotels in Okinawa resort area. I have read lots of good reviews about this hotel before I decided to go for it. It's located about 60km away from Naha and the airport, so be prepared to drive for about an hour if you intend to go to Naha town. The... More

Large, clean and modern furnished rooms, it's definitely a grade A hotel in Nago or Okinawa. Limited food choice for breakfast, haven't tried other dining in the hotel. Swimming pool is a bit tiny. There is a private beach for the hotel guests but we couldn't make the time to try it. Since the hotel is located on the hill... More

I've just returned from a 3 night stay at the Ritz. While Ritz Carlton is known for excellent properties, this one exceeded my expectations. I arrived on a Thursday evening after having spent 4 days near Naha. The staff to customer ratio was pure Ritz Carlton and after 1 day there even the operator of the gift shop knew my... More

Ritz Carlton is always considered to be a high class hotel to us and it's definitely worth the money spent. We booked the premium corner room as it's more spacious and the bay view is better than the one with the private spa. We booked direct through hotel website because you may find it more rewarding to join ritz carlton... More

I do not normally write reviews but I was so impressed with the hotel that I felt compelled to leave a review. Location: The hotel is under a two hour drive from the airport. We didnt hire a car but we easily got a taxi from the airport. The hotel is a little remote and away from any attractions. I... More

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. No doubt it is an excellent hotel that matches the price, the room, the service and the restaurants. Otherwise we would not come back again. On our second time we stayed at this hotel, we brought along my in-laws. We booked two separated rooms. They are in their 60s+, however... More
