Stayed here in October 2013. An Amazing place. Seriously wow. The host Shinya makes sure that we are comfortable. He EVEN came to pick up up at the railway station in his small cute red jeep. He is a bubbly character and VERY friendly. He felt like more like a relative rather than a hotel host. The next day he... More

We were booked in for October 2012. When we arrived there we were unable to stay. Nothing matched the photos. The mattresses were torn and shredded. The bathroom was filthy. The verandahs were piled high with rubbish. There were no restaurant facilities at all as advertised. Something has happened since the last reviews because you would be far better off... More

Host is great and with hospitality. It feels like home. A dining room with guests from different countries interacts together. thank you so much. We highly recommend and will come back again. It takes time to find this house, but it is all worth it to do so.

This guesthouse is very cozy, and the host is extremely friendly. There was a problem with our booking, so we arrived there but it was full, however they managed to improvise a place to sleep in a big room on the first floor, very lovely with futons and lamps. Nice music and homemade breakfast will help you get ready for... More

We stayed here in Aug 11 - and had an excellent time. Shinya, our host, was great - he made fantastic food (including homemade pizza and freshly ground coffee!) - the eggs came freshly from his own hens. The rooms were great - choice between bed in the main part of the room or futon in the loft part. Aircon... More

The town Yufuin is small and nice. It is a popular place to go for Japanese tourists. We went there in the middle of November, a perfect time to see the colored trees, and stayed at Homey Inn Enya. The guest house itself was worth the trip! We were taken care of in all the best ways. Both the homely... More

Enya is like a private home in the middle of the country, on the outskirts of Yufuin, where the owner Shinya rents rooms and cooks the most fabulous breakfasts and dinners. The place is simple, comfortable and attracts a lot of Japanese holidaymakers, so it provides a great opportunity for meeting people in a real life environment. You will get... More
