We stay for two nights in the Ryokan and it was a fantastic experience both in terms of gastronomy and hot-springs. However I think what the brochure show is not real. The onsens do not have the views mentioned in the photos. We have a room with a fantastic view to the Yuhudake mountain. Staff is very polite and all... More

This hotel is no a high-class luxury hotel. The class is intermediate. But we were surprised at the great view of Yuhudake. We were satisfied with great view, delicious dinner, and good hot spring.

Merits: 1. The dinner, the wagyu in particular, was very nice. 2. The view from the restuarant was great. Areas for improvement: 1. We booked a room with a mountain view, but our room was on the 1st floor. The view was not as great as in the sample photo. 2. Lots of mosquitos were over the roten kashikiri buro... More

Outstanding food & service. I agree with some other comments that the brochure & photos a bit deceptive but nevertheless worth a visit. We were in aJapanese style bedroom with toilet. Very comfortable & clean. The only westerners staying at the time. Enjoyed the use of the family onsen.

We were under the impression from the brochure we were given at the tourist information booth that this place was high in the mountains and away from it all. Reality is, it's in a part of the town just in the suburbs and yes it does have a lovely view of the mountains from the restaurant and the room we... More

I had a stay in this hotel for one night with my family. We had reserved 2 rooms - one with mountain view and one with garden view. The room is fair, not very new or nicely decorated. The view is disappointing, as we were assigned to the rooms on ground floor. My room, who claimed as with mountain view,... More

We loved this ryokan and would recommend anyone to stay there. We stayed here after having spent 2 nights in a cheaper ryokan in Yufuin and the difference was incredible and 100% worth the extra cost. The whole experience was amazing. The food is delicious, service was friendly and professional from some very experienced staff, the rooms were clean and... More

First Ryokan out of the 3 on my trip. They have 2-3 english speakers that so that's a plus. Great view of Mt Yufu from the dining room. Have 2 small private onsens and 2 public ones. They're pretty nice with a mountain view. the hot spring water is really really refreshing. just fight the heat for a few minutes... More
