“Fabulous excellent service, but mediocre rooms”

We stopped at Ishinomaki for one night so as to make our way to Tashirojima (a.k.a. cat-island) the next morning. Google maps showed that the hotel is only 4 minutes walk, however it was a little hard to find because I wasn't expecting Ishinomaki's "roads" to be so narrow. I would call them "lanes" rather than "roads" in Aussie terms.... More
