This hotel is very far to town. It is very good for long holiday. I spent long time in transportation about 3 hours from tottori. It was very night when i came here. The view for my room is good. I have sea view and swimming pool view. I should wake up early to eat breakfast before 7am. Otherwise, you... More

The ryokan room was very good. We loved it. Our baby had a great time crawling around the room. The only down side I found was there were too many people at the time of my visit. Breakfast was offered in a banquet hall where Inside it looked more like a refugee camp to me (imagine 2 long buffet lines,... More

This is a modern hotel set atop a knoll of sorts. All rooms will face a view - either out to the Japan sea or to the famed peninsula. If u want either, be sure to specify up front. Room size is great and facilities are adequate. They have a good size spa and onsen, great for onsen lovers. Not... More

The view of Amanohashidate from our room was amazing. Onsen was a little bit crowded but was still nice and relaxed. Only one thing we were disappointed was the waiter at a Japanese restaurant who is unrefined and nagging about how to eat Nabe. If some other waiter/waitress could care of our table, our... More

I made the reservation for this hotel because I wanted to see the famous Ama-no-hashidate sandbar. What I DIDN'T realize when I made the reservation is that the only way you can see it is from a great distance ACROSS THE BAY!!! The only way to get there is by a very long train ride or an equally long shuttle... More

Lonely Planets says that you really need a car for this part of Japan, true if you want to see the un - spoilt area around this part of Japan you need to drive. We hired out a car from Kyoto and drove the distance. Fortunately the car came with Japanese satnav, with satnav in Japanese. The Mazda / Europcar... More
