What makes a great B&B? Well, however you answer that question, the White House in Little Bedwyn has it in spades, presented with great ease, a tremendously friendly welcome and a keenness to have each and every guest enjoy their time in Annie & Christopher’s home. This was not our first visit to the White House, two us have spent... More

We tied in a stay here with dinner at The Harrow. Tucked away in a beautiful village, our arrival at the White House was welcomed with a wonderful cup of tea in front of a roaring fire - heaven!! Our room was lovely and had everythIng you could wish for including organic toiletries on the ensuite and little flapjacks and... More

Selected this as we were booked into a local restraurant for a special meal treat. And it was a perfect choice. The reception by Annie when we arrived was very friendly and personal. The room was wonderful and the subtle attention to every detail delightful. The homemade treats with the coffee wonderful, which we enjoyed in the lounge in front... More

We stayed at The White House on Saturday night as we were having dinner at The Harrow, which is a hop, skip and a jump away! After taking a few wrong turns due to the satnav (Annie told us that was common) we were greeted without delay by Annie, and the adorable Rolo! We were promptly shown to our room... More

We stayed at The White House July 2010 for our anniversary. The house is lovely and Annie and Christopher were great. We loved the views from the double back bedroom and also hired the bikes for a days cycling down the canals. Looking forward to booking again soon.

My friend and I stayed at the White House after visiting the Marlborough Jazz Festival. The accommodation was first class with very clean well appointed rooms. Annie & Christopher made us feel very welcome and were very approachable. Our experience was better than a lot of hotels I have stayed at and was completed by a magnificent breakfast. Definately one... More

A great b&b run by a couple who have thought of everything! The rooms were spotless and didn't just have tea and coffee facilities, there were three types of tea, horlicks and ovaltine, a flask of proper milk and a jar of home made flap jacks! The bathroom had Duchy toiletries and a basket containing everything you may have fogotten,... More

Very close to the M4, fantastic setting alongside the Kennet & Avon canal. Comfortable room, attentive hosts, excellent breakfast! Superfast wi-fi broadband that actually works... Close to national sites, such as Stonehenge and Avebury. Beautiful countryside right on the doorstep. 100 yards from an excellent Michelin-starred restaurant. Although this wasn't the purpose of the trip, this would make a good... More

Annie and Christopher were the perfect hosts. The room was extremely comfortable, with an amazing shower, and every toiletry you could want. The breakfast was very tasty, with homemade preserves and a wonderful setting of the conservatory. I had the best nights sleep I can remember, and I wish I could have stayed longer. The village setting is lovely, and... More
