First of all, one should stay at any traditional onsen hotel with realistic expectations. You will not find modern, Western-style amenities, construction, or decor. These are going to be old hotels with lots of character. The towels, yukatas, futons, and blankets will have stains and rips. You go to be immersed in traditional Japanese onsen ambience, and you'll hardly see... More

Room was decent and clean although they only provide enough sheets and blankets for adults, not children. Onsen was a bit old and could use a deep cleaning.
