This traditional ryokan in the middle of Kinosaki Onsen Town is very conveniently located. The staff are super accommodating even driving us the short distance to the train station so we didn't arrive soaking wet. The decor and onsen on the property show some age but the staff service and friendliness was superb. The breakfast was excellent and unexpectedly prepared for our group of four in a beautiful banquet room. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a well located place in Kinosaki.

We stayed here last week and had a wonderful time. Situated right in the middle of town along the river, it was ideally located for onsen-hopping and sight-seeing. The rooms were clean and traditional and the decor looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1960's (in a good way). The staff were super friendly and, although they spoke little to no English, they taught us how to tie our gowns properly so we didn't look too much like awkward tourists in a town that was populated mostly by Japanese day-trippers. A note of warning - make sure to check in by 5pm, as everything closes early in Kinosaki.

This inn is located in the very centre of Kinosaki Onsen town, most convenient to visit its seven public baths, almost in front of Ichinoyu bath. The inn is old with no frills, but maintained well. Both public space and our room were clean. No lift. All the staff are nice and prepared to serve. For dinner, we did not eat in, but breakfast was good. As to the bedding, we requested extra futon matress to sleep on, which they happily arranged. We had a good sleep. No noise problem, being on the back side of the house. The front street side may be different as many tourists and cars circulate till the outside public baths close at night. Whilst similar ryokan inns are around and there could be better ones, this simple inn is good and recommendable as one candidate..
