Stayed 2 nights at Kojinmari during Christmas. It was such a pleasant break from my one week city trip around Osaka, Nagoya and Kyoto. The town is compact but not too small, with many shops and restaurants. The highlight of my stay is Kojinmari, the RIN room is very spacious with its own private Onsen on the top floor, very... More

Our stay at Kojinmari was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Despite the luxury of Tokyo, the culture if Kyoto and the sacredness of Koyasan, it was the laid back atmosphere and luxury of the hot springs in Kinosaki thar we loved best. Kojinmari is the perfect fit for this atmosphere. We splurged on the room with its own... More

Along the way from Kyoto by train, heavy falls of snow can be seen from Fukuchiyama. The host at Kojinmari told me that they had quite a heavy snowfall the night before but some had melted during the day. I booked the Sei room with dinner & breakfast directly and all emails were always answered promptly. The room was warm &... More

Upon arrival at Kojinmari, we were warmly greeted with a cup of sencha and was introduced to the RIN room. There is only 1 RIN room available, which is very spacious and personal onsen. The host explained to us each feature in the room and gave us good recommendations on which onsen is great to visit as there are 7... More

Everything about the Kojinmari was excellent. We made arrangements directly with the inn, the responses from the hosts were prompt. From check-in to departure we were looked after like much welcome guests. On arrival we were served matcha tea and given our yukatas (robes) and gaeta (shoes) which we wore walking the willow lined canal going from onsen to onsen.... More

Coming in from Tokyo in our holiday (crowds, neon sign overloads, skyscrapers, etc), Kojinmari (and the town itself) was a welcome shift in pace! While this isn't a 5 star hotel type of place, the hosts definitely make it five stars with their personalised friendliness and helpfulness. We got the japanese themed room which was a nice change up from... More

My husband and I stayed at Kojinmari one night through our trip to Japan. I must say the stay was the highlight of our trip. The hosts were wonderfully hospitable. We were looked after the moment we stepped foot inside the ryokan. The kaseki dinner and the Japanese breakfast were amazing and authentic. We visited 3 of the public bathhouses... More

We spent a night there this summer, and that was our best experience in Japan (within a 2 months stay). The hosts were amazingly nice, the food was really good (one of the best kaiseki dinner we had). Since we were the only guests, we were upgraded to the room with a private bath, which looked very nice. Since we... More

We stayed at Kojinmari one night on our trip through Japan. It was a great experience to dress up in a personalized Yukata and walk through the streets of Kinosaki Onsen. During our Japan trip we always had excellent food, but the Kaseki Dinner was the best! Our hosts were amazing and provided top notch service. Definitely recommend staying here... More

Our family of four - two adults and two mid-teenage children - stayed in the Rin room at Kojinmari in late April 2013, and our two nights were the highlight of our three week Japanese sojourn. I actually feel a little teary at the thought of this place and the hosts, we really enjoyed it that much. We had the... More
