I stayed here for 9 nights at the end of a 27-day business/training trip in Europe and Asia. The room is a bit roomier than most Japanese singles, but small. No drawers, but a deep shelf at the top of the hanging shelf rod (it's not really a closet). My three gages are Quiet, Clean and Dark. It is pretty... More

I stayed at the Castle Plaza Hotel in November for 4 nights. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Check in (and out) was the quickest I've had in a Japanese hotel. Very easy. The facility, which also does weddings, must have been sort of upscale in the 80's. I've got a spacious room with three (single) beds. The interiors must not have been changed since the opening, but that is probably because it is a smoking-room. It is a good business hotel. Hotel serves breakfast which is OK for foreigners also. It is quite reasonably priced. Services are limited but sufficient for business stay. Close to Nishi Akashi station. Convenient to go around OSAKA by train. Being in suburb area trains are a better way of conveyance. Small Place.
