The hotel management is a disgrace, very unprofessional. I tried to cancel due to bereavement, was refused refund yet the room was sold on within half hour of cancelling. The manager was rude and disgusting. Number 7 of 7 says it all!

We stayed here when visiting Manchester for a family celebration. We were here a few years ago and the room we had this time wasn't bad, clean and cosy and pretty quiet. Our daughter and son in law had a room which wasn't quite as nice and it was a bit noisy (we paid the same price) but I guess... More

The hotel should be knocked down, it isn't cheap (rooms, food or drink) and you get nothing for your money. We were made to pay before seeing the room which was a bit strange, upon getting into the room we found that the bathroom was in such a state; the toilet seat was broken, cracked tiles and best of all... After having read the other reviews listed I wanted to say that my experience was very good. I was staying for 8 weeks due to work and I found the rooms very comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast very good. The chef Des made the best burgers I have tasted in a long time and all the evening meals... More

I am writing this review regarding the general management of this hotel! We had a birthday party here last month and it said In the booklet from the venue that we could have the room from 8am till 5pm! However, this wasn't the case! We were unable to get Into the room until 11am as the hotel apparently was too... More

We were in the hotel for a few beers before we moved on to another event and it dosnt look like anything has changed. Its cheap as we were quoted £55 for a double . The Hotel sits next to washway road which is one of the busiest roads in Manchester. You will need to ask for quiet room at... More

I phoned up and asked if there was a room available before booking. Upon arrival I paid for my room but they also asked for a bank card (which I left at home) or a £50 deposit. I had £40 extra and also my car keys but the lady on reception refused my stay. I am 38 years of age,... More

Arrived at the hotel after booking online. Added a note to say we would check in after midnight as travelling late from devon. Arrived at 00:30, the night porter told us we had not booked a room even though i could show him the booking confirmation and proof the money had been taken out of my account. Spoke to the... More

Noisy Cold Smelly Poor value for money Smallest TV I've ever seen in the bedroom The Bathroom wants ripping out and replacing, the heated towel rail is so close to the sink you burn yourself on it when using the sink Would rather travel than stay here again

Dear Guest, I am saddened that your stay with us was not acceptable to you. I am a little confused as one of your comments state it is cold, however another is that you burnt yourself on the radiator. I confirm that the hotel is currently under a refurbishment project, and as of today we have completed 60% of our... More

I have stayed here a few times when I get stuck in Manchester for work and the location suits me very well. I have paid 40 and 45 per night and the room is always clean and has what I need for the night. I have tried the breakfast which was ok, nothing special. The bar isnt something I use... More
