Stayed for two nights for a family party. The room was comfortable, though the bed was too high to sit on comfortably and there was no netting at the window which meant the house opposite could see in. Staff were friendly and helpful but the breakfast was awful-porridge like concrete, one half slice of oldish-looking bacon and a half-raw tomato.... More

We went as a family for Sunday lunch and one of us chose the Roast Beef. The friendly bar man asked how we wanted the beef - Rare or well done. I asked for medium and was told sorry chef cannot do medium. There are only 2 explanations for this. One they don't have a chef or 2, they are... More

Spent two nights here when attending a wedding and would definitely recommend it. Room was excellent, nicely furnished and clean. We were told there was an 18th birthday party being held here during our stay but there was no noise or disturbance. Only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was fine.

We booked this hotel very last minute as we needed to be in Sale as opposed to central Manchester. Even an executive room is not worth £90! But the worst part of the whole experience had to be the food. We ordered our evening meals in the pub, waited over 25 mins for it to arrive and when it did,... More

love going to The Belmore for drinks and sitting in the beer garden is perfect on a fine day. The food however is absolutely shocking.... considering the cost of the meals you would expect a great meal (which use to be the case) however its now massively gone downhill. Went for tea a couple of weeks back and the veg... More

On enquiring about a room on the phone I was advised that a "Superior room" was available which I booked for both Fri and Sat nights. Their website advertises only standard, executive and classic rooms. I assumed a superior room would kind of special compared to a standard room, Hmm.... The room was at the back of the hotel and... We stayed from the 29/6 to 7/7/2014, the rooms were great, beer cold or as cold as poms do beer, the food excellent, the staff were lots of fun, efficient, friendly. It was an most enjoyable stay. The beer garden that faces Brooklands Road what a great place to have a beer.

Stayed at the Belmore last Saturday, lovely hotel highly recommended. Reasonably priced with nice friendly staff. We had a double room which was beautifully decorated, and looked exactly like the pics on the website. Breakfast was very nice and there was a decent menu to choose from. The bar and outdoor area was really nice and sitting outside in the... More

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my family who had come to visit. The Sunday lunch menu is of fabulous quality and extremely affordable. I would definitely recommend the roast which was delicious. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and had extensive knowledge of the cask ale and wines which pleased my father! We sat outside in the... More
