Absolutely loved this place. An old rambling building, with tons of charm. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. Wi-fi coverage is good. The grounds are lovely and nicely decorated by Splat the Black Cat. The staff was super friendly, always with a nice smile. Lastly, Normanhurst is in a great location for city center and the airport. We stay here often and have never been disappointed. The rooms are all spotless the large rooms in the annex are airy with large flat screen TV and the smaller ones have all the amenities you need. The main building has a lot of character as you would expect from a period building. In winter there are cosy fire places... More

All in all a very good two night break will visiting Tatton Park Flower Show. Warm welcome and excellent food both at breakfast and dinner. As it was very warm the large garden was a great facility for sitting out in the evening enjoying a drink but would have welcomed a fan in the room to keep us cool. The... More

Hotel is just a short walk away from the train station that you can go to the old Trafford. The breakfast is nice and the rooms are big and clean. I will definitely book again next time when I come to see manu game.

Got a room last minute on a website, it happened to be a weekend that Man U were playing at home so everywhere was full or super expensive. Got a room for a very good price and therefore expected a not very impressive room - ended up with a massive room room with a lovely garden view. Cost about a... More

I stayed here recently following a late flight into Manchester. The whole place looks like it could do with refurbishing and in fairness to the owners they were in the process of doing just that. The part of the hotel where I was staying was across a link bridge from the main house. The room was a bit dated but... More
