Get there early Friday to avoid check in rush at 4 pm. Room was ready at 1pm ! Very busy place, as many people come for the weekend. If at Blue Mountain Inn advise to make reservations for dinner soon as you get there. Great accommodation and you can take skis to room at the Inn Indoor pool and several... More

Just spent a great mid-week conference at Blue Mountain Inn. Morning meetings were followed by afternoon skiing. We stepped out the door and caught the lift - friendly staff and a good place to meet. Looking forward to next year's conference already, but next time we'll add an extra day before or after.

I was very impressed by the service received at check-in. I'm really bad for remembering names, but she was really great, informative, and helpful. The rooms are very clean and perfect for a couple night stay. I had zero trouble finding parking. If you're staying in the village, parking is a nightmare!!! Don't take a vehicle to the village for... More

Dear KnightJayJay, Thank you for all these helpful tips and for sharing with prospective visitors seeking the advice of those who have already visited. The Inn is conveniently located at the base of Happy Valley ski run, literally exit the rear of the hotel and hop on a lift and away you go. The rooms are not set up for... More

I came here for a weekend without the kids. The room is very nice -- updated decor, two comfortable beds and a mini fridge. The lobby area is dated and, I hate to say it, a little shabby. There are two pool tables available for $2 a game. The indoor pool is small, but I think my kids would have... More

Dear WorkingmomToronto, Thank you for providing so much helpful advice to our Trip Advisor readers, the Inn guest rooms and many of the public areas underwent a refurbishment just a couple of years ago and continually receives very positive feedback. The Inn pool is the only indoor pool facility on the resort; generally families quite enjoy the option. No, this... More

I was storm-stayed at Blue Mountain recently so had to find a place to stay last minute. As I was hoping to get some skiing in, I called the Blue Mountain Inn reservations line and was able to get a room same-day at a very reasonable price as I am a season ski passholder. The room, with king bed, was... More

Dear archar, Sometimes the unplanned stays can turn out to be the best of all, we’re happy to hear your unexpected “storm-stay”, turned out so well. The Inn rooms are very comfortable, thank you for detailing the many attributes in your review. Ahh yes, the Pottery and Jozo’s are indeed a treat and our serving associates are truly amazing. The... I went on the dec 27, 2014 weekend. It is a great hotel at a great price. The mountains are right on the back of this hotel. You can save few hundred dollars for just walking one (1) block to the village. Other hotels IN the village charge a lot more just to be there. The bar is great, full... More

Dear juanky9, Thank you for this glowing review of the Blue Mountain Inn, it is a perfect location situated at the base of the ski hills and with 2 restaurants right on site, you really have all you need under one roof. The foyer is nice but there are no seats if you have to wait, but staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a bit of a let down and are not particularly fancy or spacious. They are done in "mock" wood to go with the mountain theme. Parking is included with your stay, but we always think it is... More

I stayed at Blue Mountain Inn for a conference and inadvertently left some clothing in my room. The housekeeping staff quickly retrieved and items and shipped them to me. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful and I appreciated this attention to detail.

Was here for a 2-day conference. Loved the free shuttle transportation throughout the property and village. Rooms are a decent size & modern, but in my humble opinion, could have been designed cozier.

The inn has been updated since the last time we stayed here so that was nice to see. Overall, the location is great and I would think for a family visit its ideal.
