The info office at the ferry can ring to arrange for the minibus to bring you in a few minutes to this lovely out of town modern but Ryokan style hotel overlooking a quiet sandy shore and fishing harbour. Rooms are lovely, with windows opening onto sea view and narrow balcony (great for clothes drying and there is a hotel... More

The hotel is in a beautiful part of Miyajima, overlooking the sea. There is a beach where you can paddle or sunbathe. The staff were extremely helpful, offering a free shuttle bus service to and from the port. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. This is a great hotel for tourists wishing to have a Japanese hotel experience.

The staff here are wonderful, so welcoming and the service is great. I would highly recommend getting an evening meal here, very tasty and lots of different dishes to try that are prepared just for you on your own table or in your room. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea in a traditional room with tatami mats. The... More

We arrived with a group to a wonderful surprise just for one night but we fell in love with this hotel. The hotel is a Ryokan type with a beautiful well equipped room. The sea view through the large front window and the balcony is very nice and relaxing with gazelles walking on the beach. The welcoming efficient and friendly... More

Miyajima is a very special place. At night when most of the tourists leave the island, it stays in absolute peace. This ryokan is on the seaside with a beautiful view. We were asked if we would prefer Japanese or western meal, we chose Japanese, and it was delicious. We stayed only one night, but Miyajima deserves at least a... More

Stayed here for three days. Wonderful experience, great view over the water, but most importantly a very, very friendly staff that was very accommodative. The only drawback if any is that it is a little away from the center, but again the staff make up for this by coming to pick you up whenever you call them.

We stayed at the Miyajima Seaside Hotel in April 2015. From the moment we arrived on the island, the service from the hotel was outstanding. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the ferry but having luggage we decided to use the hotel shuttle bus. Upon arrival in the hotel lobby, the hotel staff took our shoes and gave... More

We -family of 4- stayed 2 nights in the Miyajima Seaside Hotel and we really enjoyed it. We had a big room (corner room 411) with a wonderful view. The Onsen is great, the dinner & japanese breakfast is very tasteful although not top. The staff is very friendly. This is certainly a good option if you're looking for a... More

we spent 3 days at Miyajima seaside resort in a family room. Beautiful view, nice Japanese futon room, good traditional family food (children menu much less attractive, though), nice public baths with good quality cosmetics available for free. Hotel in a quite secluded charming hamlet on a little fishing harbour and close to shell farms, plenty of deers around, and... More

Traditional Japanese hotel in Miyajima. A bit far away from the station but the stuff very friendly and they have shuttle to pick you up and drop you of the station. Make sure to book with dinner and breakfast. All the restaurants on the island close at 18:00. Traditional large room with a view to a small bay. very nice.... More
