We stayed at the Miyajima Seaside Hotel in April 2015. From the moment we arrived on the island, the service from the hotel was outstanding. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the ferry but having luggage we decided to use the hotel shuttle bus. Upon arrival in the hotel lobby, the hotel staff took our shoes and gave... More

We -family of 4- stayed 2 nights in the Miyajima Seaside Hotel and we really enjoyed it. We had a big room (corner room 411) with a wonderful view. The Onsen is great, the dinner & japanese breakfast is very tasteful although not top. The staff is very friendly. This is certainly a good option if you're looking for a... More

we spent 3 days at Miyajima seaside resort in a family room. Beautiful view, nice Japanese futon room, good traditional family food (children menu much less attractive, though), nice public baths with good quality cosmetics available for free. Hotel in a quite secluded charming hamlet on a little fishing harbour and close to shell farms, plenty of deers around, and... More

Traditional Japanese hotel in Miyajima. A bit far away from the station but the stuff very friendly and they have shuttle to pick you up and drop you of the station. Make sure to book with dinner and breakfast. All the restaurants on the island close at 18:00. Traditional large room with a view to a small bay. very nice.... More

This an older hotel, set up on the mountain, near the park. It is surrounded by tree, deer wander by in the evenings, and you can hear the sea lapping at the shore. It's nice, but... It is completely away from everything, there is no food/bar at the hotel either. They run a bus to and from town but only... More

Where to begin.. Our experience at the Miyajima Seaside Hotel was absolutely grand! We arrived later than the check-in due date but regardless the hotel staff was most helpful. They sent hotel shuttle bus to pick us up form the ferry station and even took us back to the city centre to have dinner (and pick later again) because we... More

This is a Ryokan hotel. Traditional Japanese. Some trepidation before arrival. Would a boiling tub be mandatory ? No. Would I put my foot through a wall ? No. Would I look silly in a Yakuta ? Probably, but who cares. Slightly disappointing on first sight, it looks like any other seaside hotel, albeit in a fantastic location. On arrival... More

This was our only stay in a Ryokan and we enjoyed it. We choose to stay at this World Heritage Island and visit Hiroshima rather than the other way and it was a good idea. The way to the ferry from the railway station is straight forward and ferries leave regularly and only take 10 minutes to make the crossing.... More

Stayed here for one night while visiting Hiroshima. Excellent location as is only a 20 minute train ride and a 10 minute ferry ride from Hiroshima. We went for the traditional japanese rooms, half board and it was brilliant. Meal served to us in our rooms, then our beds made just after. Did visit the onsen as well for a... More

The best thing about this hotel was how nice the staff were to us. When my children wanted to explore outside in the dark, the desk staff provided them with torches. As the Hotel is over a kilometre from the ferry, the Hotel provides a shuttle bus to take guests to and from the town centre. We tried both a... More
