Everything in this hotel is prim and proper: the accomodations, the staff, the setting. However it is not the type of hotel that goes way out to please the tourist. Meals are served at an appointed time and you cannot make reservations on extra meals unless you pay half stay. If an item goes missing on the menu - a... More

Qute an exciting journey on a dirt road fro Posadas but so worth it, suddenly you are there. We arrived in the evening and got a lovely warm welcome from all. The area is stunning and the boat trips are really special, so many birds, caiman, capybaras galore. We did some lovely walks too seeing deer who seemed very unbothered... More

Me and my husband had a lovely stay at Posada de la Laguna this past January. The staff, specially the guide, was really friendly and the food delicious, home made pastries and cakes for breakfast and tea. Elsa, the owner, was really nice and went out of her way to make our experience unforgettable. Such a beautiful and peaceful place... More

We had real problems getting in and out of the resort due to heavy rain and the river bursting it's banks! The resort says it is accessible by 4x4 at all times; it is not. We saw lots of wildlife which was good. Bed was comfy, nice rooms. toiletries and linen The food is reasonable, but when we book All... More

Posada de la Laguna is a wonderful place to enjoy all that the Iberá has to offer. Since the village Colonia Carlos Pellegrini has limited services, it is best to take adventure of the tours and food Elsa the owner provides. The staff was very helpful and some english was spoken.

We spent 4 nights at the magical Posadas de la Laguna. As soon as we arrived and were directed to our room right on the lagoon, we watched the capybaras, caiman and birds without even leaving the place! Elsa has created such a wonderful atmosphere here, it is relaxed, casual yet seems totally indulgent. Even the music playing in the... More

During a two weeks visit to Argentina and more precisely between B.A. and Iguazu, I stayed at this great Posada for THREE nights. It is probably the best one of all the Posadas in that area. The people are helpful and friendly although communication is difficult due to the lack of English language knowledge of the majority of the staff... More

We spent four nights here in February and can really recommend the place. The journey in is challenging and if it's just rained you are in real trouble - 4WDs only. There is nothing to do in the village and hardly anywhere to eat so best to go full board like we did. Peaceful place, lovely pool, delicious food, all... More

It's hard to decide where to start with praise of La Posada de la Laguna. Pleasant, friendly (if a bit shy) staff. Amazing view of, and access to, the wetlands. Our guide, Roque, was informative and patient, and seemed just as excited as we were to see all the landscape and animals...although he had probably seen it all a million... More

Hi Tim!!! Thank you very much for your comment. I´m very glad you enjoyed our lodge and I´m very happy we have "supported" your honeymoon. I´ll take seriously your suggestion about "to do nothing" for a day!!! A big hug! Elsa More

Hello, We choose that place to discover the Esteros del Ibera and it was a great idea. There is a direct access to the lake, so you go directly and don't loose time. We were there to see capybaras ans they were so many all around... Ideal for rest (no TV), big rooms, great food... Everybody is there to help... More
