When in Fukuoka Pref you have to go to Ohana in Yanagawa. There's so much history and there's a museum with pieces from the daimyo era. The hotel is family owned. We booked Ohana through Japanese Guesthouse and everything was done very efficiently. We stayed for 3 nights during the 1st week of December 2010. 2 nights were with dinner+breakfast @ Y15,000 per person excl tax in a japanese room for 2 of us.
