Location was a little tricky to find. Sign for the Chateau Hotel Mont Royal Restaurant is posted in front of security gates. Didn't realize you had to push the button on the speaker box, on the left of the gates, to call the front desk and gain entrance to the hotel. Once at the hotel, we had a wonderful experience!... more

We found the staff to be very welcoming, and the hotel in general hit an excellent balance between classic without being stuffy and to have modern facilities & design without being over the top super cool. We were a little concerned that it may be aimed at the corporate market but this was not the case on the weekend we... more

Thank you very much for your positive comment on the Hotel. May I say that you really highlighted a crucial point that we are very much concerned with : corporate Hotel vs leisure hotel. it is very important for a hotel like ours to be able to balance properly its various clients, from corporate to families, romantic couples etc.... The...

We stayed at the Chateau Mont Royal for a college reunion that had been in the planning for five years. On arrival we were inadvertenly given standard rooms on the first floor that had not yet been renovated. When brough to the attention of the Sales Director Corine Couedel, we were immediately moved to delux rooms on the second floor.... more

We stayed there on the last day of very pleasant visit to France. Unfortunatelly the views outside are not matching the service. Hotel is understaffed - you see the same peole working 12-14 hours a day. Waiters were running like on a sport event. Food in restaurant is very poor quality - very small menu and and some dishes that... more

The hotel is really good and the staff is very courteous. They take care of all your needs and are very polite. Pros: 1. Free breakfast buffet. The breakfast was extremely delicious. Eat as much as you want, but get there early. The breakfast bar closes @ 10:00. You can ask your server for an omellette and he'll gladly make... more

My family (myself, my wife, 8 year old daughter and 9 week old son) recently spent two nights at the impressive Chateau Mont Royal, north east of Paris. First impressions were excellent, with electric gates and a long winding drive leading to a fantastic looking building. On checking in, we found that the staff were very friendly and helpful but... more

Occupying a hilltop location in a forest north of Paris, this building has an interesting history that nearly came to an end after it was looted by the Germans in the last war – or what one should perhaps now refer to the Second World War. The resultant ruin was bought and restored by the Concorde chain in the early... more

I took my 8 year old son away for a special trip to see Paris before he returned to school. We decided to stay at the Mont Royal, after I phoned them up to confirm that they are child friendly and therefore appropriate for our stay. Unfortunately, this turned out to be far from the case. There are only 2... more

Spent our last night in France at the Chateau Mont Royal and were very glad we did. The hotel is definitely of the highest calibre and is excellent quality. The bathroom was luxurious, they provide guests with bathrobes and they have a turn down service where like magic when one returns from dinner, the towels are changed, the bed is... more

What a wonderful stay Friday night for our last night in France. Traveled with two daughters, 12 & 20, and the Chateau got our highest ratings of the other 3 excellent hotels we stayed in during this trip. The complementary mini bar was a nice surprise. But even better was the full breakfast buffet that came included in our $185... more
