We checked in with ease, our room was ready even though we arrived early. John the manager was very knowledged about the area and gave us some recommendations on restaurants of where to have dinner that evening. He also let us know that they did have a full menu available for dinner. We hung out at the pool for the... More

Spent two nights at the Lookout at Playa Tortuga and was very pleased with every aspect of my stay! Great food and service - friendly staff and breath taking views and property! New management has definitely stepped up all aspects of this charming property - awesome choice!!!!

First time I spent a night at the Lookout, nice place but need refreshing. The room I got with my roommate was very small, one small fan over the main bed but nothing for the single bed. Bathroom was more fit for a kid than an adult. Almost need a 4/4 to get to the motel. Could find better for... More

After traveling up the coast from Playa Carate and staying at The Lookout Inn Lodge just outside the Corcovado National Park, which was insanely magical, we landed here at Hotel Lookout. After a 4 hour drive, we were "greeted" by the male owner who was not inviting in the least. He quickly asked us if we would be eating dinner... More

The hotel and grounds are very nice with its terracotta and its restaurant overlooking the Pacific with its amazing sunsets. The Heart of Palm salad was amazing! The bar is very nice, as are the rooms with a nice large shower. We stayed in #8 which I believe is the most private room of all. Lots of grounds for our... More

We got there by bus and it was a little adventure, first trying to find the right bus, then findind out we had to walk up a "little hill". Nothing so bad, but it's good to have in mind that to get there you will have to drag your suitcases up the hill. A wise decision when going to this... More

Having traveled from Canada by motorcycle and experiencing dozens of Hotels along the way, this one was fantastic. Nice signage to find your way, excellent flow from reception to your room. All the details seemed to be addressed. A quick tour and explanation before paying ensured you knew what to expect. To get a mountain view, you must first climb... More

The lookout hotel offers breathtaking views on the ocean. Sunsets on the upperdeck are stunning. Rooms are clean and big. With airco witch you donot need because a little wind at night cools you down. Breakfast is worth the price. Dinner tastend very well. Host and hostess were very friendly and helpfull.

The hotel is very old and not that nice. The rooms are small and do not have anything special other than the view to the sea. The pool area is also very old and the service is average. Everything is very far so you need to have a car. Breakfast was good.

Take a left at the ferreteria, wind up the hill and you will find yourself at the Lookout Hotel. Nice place, friendly owner and the view is great. Grounds are nice but could use some attention in the near future. Almost had the place to ourselves as this was the off season. Rooms consist of small cabinas on the lower... More
