Stayed for one night and that was long enough. The room was a throwback to the 60's with very dated furniture and a dining chair instead of a comfy chair. Bed was OK but noise from the front door was unbearable during the night with constant door slamming during the night.

Stayed for two nights at Travelodge in Cumbernauld with couple of my friends. We drove up to Scotland for our week away exploring the country. Chosen this Travelodge because of the convenient location going up north and also close to Glasgow. The free car park was a bonus. We phoned the hotel beforehand to double check our reservation as we... More

Stayed two nights at travelodge with kids and had no complaints really. As has been mentioned on website hotel is due for refurb in future but could not fault cleanliness, comfy beds wifi etc. Handy location just of motorway and good to have two options to eat with an excellent italian and very good pub grub.

Travelodge rooms seem to have improved since my last visit, this room was actually quite nice and had a comfy bed. The bathroom was a let-down with cracked floor tiles which looked slightly grubby and no bath mat to stand on when I got out of the shower. There is a noisy restaurant with a live band/singers just behind the... More

On reading that is Travelodge hadn't been refurbished we weren't sure what to expect but we're surprised... Pros - handy for motorway, large double room, comfy clean bed, large TV, kettle, clean bathroom & towels, nice pub next door, beautiful Italian restaurant next door, BP garage, M&S food & 24 hr Tesco just 5 mins away. Cons - decor dated,... More

Spent 7 nights here during a job I had in Glasgow. I tried to find different accommodations, but everything was booked due to the Commonwealth Games. Here is what I found (or didn't find...). No hand towels. No wash cloths. No ice. No laundry. No AC. Bad smells. Mold. Very noisy. Doors slamming all night and motorway noise. 1 chair... More

Having read some dire reviews for this Travelodge I was not looking forward to my stay (26th july - 4th august) for 9 days during the Commonwealth Games. However I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Our room ( twin) was clean & comfortable & we slept like logs every night. We didn't have a bath but a very... More

Room was very nice ,,, Room needed air conditioning way too hot.. windows only open a little and let in motorway noise once opened . but with them closed the room was stuffy .. very close to the motorway junction but the onsite directions sent us miles out of our way to get to the hotel very strange
