We were in Apaneca for the zip line tour and hike to the Chorros de Calera falls. Our guide was originally going to take us to eat in Juayua but both restaurants we tried were closed. He mentioned this place, another 15 minutes farther and we were happy to try it, especially since he said it was his favorite eatery... More

Was driving on the Ruta de los Flores, and came across this place between Apaneca and Ataco. Despite the rain, I thought the food and ambiance was excellent. I ordered the bruschetta and pescado with the papas puras and tortillas.

This is a restaurant that I used to consider the best in the ataco area. I'm afraid this is simply not true anymore the quality of its food has suffered tremendously. The choice of plates we ordered ranged from just ok to right unbeatable. The soup was bland, the chicken dry, and their signature meat dish right tough and tasteless.... More

I didn't stay overnight here, but did stop for a wonderful lunch in the very beautiful open-air restaurant. Service was very good, and the food delicious. Beware of the enormous size of the very good "plato tipico", definitely big enough to share!

I was visiting the area with relatives and they told me I needed to go to this special place.Well I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty and tranquility of Jardin de Celeste. We spent the night and had a fabulous dinner with family in an eden-like ambiance, the food and wine were excelent! This jewel is worth the trip!

We were on a tour with Gringo Tours and he is person friends with the owners of this restaurant. We had lunch here and the food was just outstanding. The service was really good. Recommend you try this place.

Our driver from Honduras dropped us here at around 15.00 on a Tuesday afternoon in Easter week and the restaurant was packed with Salvadoreans enjoying the week long easter break. We stayed 2 nights. The accomodation is in individual cabins in beautiful grounds. It is basic but comfortable but getting hot water is a challenge. The restaurant seats around 150... More

Worth the trip! I ordered a steak filete with Tenquique Sauce. Tenquique is a local mushroom that is wonderful! It has a heart y, slightly smokey flavor. We all ordered different things and everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed all the antiques and decorations. It was like we walked thru a time warp and went... We were visiting friends in San Salvador and they took us to this place for lunch (we did not stay in the rooms). The food was excellent. Between the four of us, we had mahi mahi, tostadas, and steaks. The sides were also very good, using fresh local veggies and fruits. We really wanted to save room for pie because... More
