Quinta Pero Vicente was a complete surprise and the only negative point was that at the end of the stay, there was a feeling that we needed more time there to enjoy everything it has to offer. The house is a typical "quinta" with plenty of space, comfortable rooms (ours had a very big bathroom) and beautiful surroundings. It is... More

Vitor is the most attentive and thoughtful host. The Quinta is simply but comfortably furnished. It is located in a quiet spot at the end of a sandy track near the cliffs of this spectacular coast. Another bonus of the location is that this area is several degrees C cooler than Aljezur, making sleeping in hot weather very much more... More

This small farm offered a delightful and hospitable stay in south-west Portugal. Vitor (the owner) is highly welcoming and a great cook. The breakfast is generous and delicious. You can also opt to have a home made evening meal - 4-5 courses with wine for €25. It is located a ~3 minute car drive from the main road and a... More

Our stay at Quinta Pero Vicente was the highlight of our travels up the Atlantic coast. Set in the heart of the Alentejano and its coastal National Park and just a few minutes walk from the dramatic coastline; the surrounding countryside, with its mixture of forest, scrub (which in May was blanketed in colour) and agricultural land, was wonderful. The... More

My partner and I rocked up at 4:30 am after a boring night drive from Lisbon. When we finally arrived we were greeted by what I can only describe as ‘probably the most awesome dude in Portugal’. Vitor made us a cup of tea and gave a brief run down of what we could do in the area before asking... More

We stayed for a week and we loved! The service is excellent and very familiar. We were greeted by Mr. Victor who offered us useful information from the vast area. The nearby beaches are very beautiful and in the wild. We made holiday with our dog, which was very well received, thus making our stay very quiet. Wonderful breakfast, homemade... More

Vitor the owner and his Portuguese Sheepdog welcomed us enthusiastically and gave us lots of helpful information about the area, hiking options, beaches, restaurants, etc. The rooms are simple, clean and very quiet set within the family home. There is plenty of space to relax both indoors and outdoors (including a few hammocks in the shade) and an honesty "bar"... More

We arrived after a long day of hiking and instantly felt at home. The room was clean and lovely and the house has a great atmosphere. The family is so friendly and you don't need to bother go looking for a restaurant. We had dinner at the B&B and it was the best meal we had during our 2 weeks... More
