A B&B should make you feel at home, and Baggs does it. Run by a wonderful couple who make you feel welcome. The rooms are nice and the property offers great corners to relax in. A short walk into the village and a quiet location. Get the basic breakfast with fruit as it is sufficient. It is always nice to... More

We were made feel very welcome by hosts Ray and Kathy. Interesting and very comfortable selection of rooms available. We enjoyed our delicious selection of breakfast foods in the privacy of our balcony. Thankyou for a wonderful stay and we will certainly be back.

So disappointed. So many things were wrong. 1. Owner called me saying he wanted to go to out - could I arrive later. We arrived later, he wasn't there. We let ourselves in. Called him, he came after a few minutes. 2. There was no bed made up for our daughter. He said I didn't book a child, when I... More

We stayed in the garden room recently - spotlessly clean. The owners were v helpful and provided a breakfast tray early for one day as we wanted to leave before 0700. The other day, we had a continental breakfast which is taken outdoors - somewhat challenging in August as the table is in the shade and very cold. The B... More

At the end of our eight weeks trip through Australia in December 2011 we stayed there for two nights, Ray and his wife were wonderful hosts, thanks to them and their phantastic informations we were able to see a platypus! We would love to come again at any time!

We had a lovely night at Baggs Canungra between stays at Binna Burra & O'Reilly's. It was great to find a B&B to put our feet up for the afternoon, so nice we didn't move until well past dinner time but the lovely folk at the RSL made us a late dinner anyway (pub meals finish at 8pm). Breakfast was... More

We happened upon Baggs of Canungra via some research on the internet... must say a great find. Ray and Cathy are wonderful hosts... we had booked a tour to Springbrook to see the "glow worm cave" and when we happened to mention it to Ray, he immediately said he would love to take us to see the Natural Bridge and... We were due to go there on 5th 6th March but floods at Gympie and Tin Can Bay Road prevented us. On contacting them he said he would refund funds paid ( paid Nov11). Since our return refund not received and he said my wife was lying regarding what he said. ADVICE - DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE because flooding... More

We stayed here for two nights as a base for bushwalking in the Lamington National Park. The hosts are very pleasant and acommodating and the location is very quiet. Our room was on the ground floor with its own little terrace overlooking the lawn and was very private. Our breakfast outside overlooking the grass was very good however dining options... More

We had a girls weekend in feb 2011, we stayed a friday and saturday night. Our room "the kingfisher" was great as it had two beds available for us. We drove down from brisbane and stopped in Beaudesert at the pub for lunch (well worth it). The B&B was very easy to find. We checked in and went for a... More
