What a fabulous introduction to Japan. We were bought here by our friends on our second night in Japan. The facilities were faultless, staff quietly attentive, food delicious topped off by a view overlooking the Autumnal trees across the bridge. We are Australians and the experience felt genuine and unique.

This is a very good Japanese style hotspring inn. The room is spacious and it's a room with a view - with autumn colour leafs outside the window. Hotspring facilities are just great - large size indoor Onsen and magnificent outdoor Onsen 露天風呂. The staff are very nice and very helpful, delivering good services and Japanese hospitality. The meals are... More

An older and established ryokan onsen, we came to Unazuki Onsen area to take the scenic Kurobe Railways through the gorge to Keyakidaira. Enraku is a charming throwback to classic Japanese interior and authentic traditional ryokan. Having stayed at a smaller traditional Ryokan in Arima onsen area, I was worried at first that this would be large and not as... More

Enraku isn't the most modern ryokan, but on our recent stay, the service, room and food were really top notch. I recommend staying in a room with a private bath. It's not cheap, but the experience was truly relaxing and wonderful. The room is a Japanese style room with an interior bath and WC. The tatami room was simply but... More

Stayed with my family for a night. Location-wise, it can't be better because it is only a 5 minute walk from the station. It was raining really heavily when we came down from the Kurobe Gorge and we took the hotel shuttle from the station back. The hotel will send a shuttle to the station according to the train schedule... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night after visiting the Alpine Route. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcome by the hotel staff and they made us feel we were VIPs. A lady staff led us to the room ( one with open bath) which is very comfortable and clean and she introduced us all the... More

This is my second visit to Unazuki onsen. A friend recommend Enraku to me. The room and onsen are not very special. It's 3 to 4 stars level. I have a special room which is big enough for me and my family. The facilities of my room is usual but no surprise. There is another family travel with me. They... More

I visited Unazuki onsen with a group of friends and stayed at Enraku hotel. The hotel was first class and the service was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly, and because we wanted to take a torokko (train) ride toward Kurobe dam and the train was leaving in 10 minutes, we didn't have time even to...
