This hotel makes everything easy, when it comes to skiing or snowboarding. I went in February to go snowboarding for the first time. We stayed here over the weekend in the midst of summer. Reading past reviews, this hotel might be better during winter, but as a summer holiday destination it is not recommended. A couple of things certain with Japanese hotels - old, poorly maintained, overpriced, impregnated with smoke. This hotel is no different. It fails to impress in all aspects except for one, it's location to the slopes and the winter sports related activities.
