Staying in Glenelg for a few days we decided to pop into this hotel, at about 3.30pm, for a drink and to discover what the evening menu offered. We were informed that the evening menu would be put up on the blackboard at 6pm. When we asked what would be available we were told that the chef had not informed... More

Thanks for your review, firstly please may we wholeheartedly apologise for the fact that you were overcharged for the Macallan; our price for a 10 year old malt is £3.60 so if you would like to get in touch we can reimburse you the 75p difference or alternatively we would gladly give you a dram on the house next time... This is literally the only pub for miles, it might even be the pub that's furthest from any other pub. This could be bad news, but it's not. The beer was good, the food great. The atmosphere is fantastic, a log fire, regular music, friendly staff, and a real mix of customers from tourists to local fishermen. Highly recommended.

A very friendly comfortable Inn, will definitely visit again next year. Can highly recommend you will not be disappointed. Plenty of great humour from the bar staff, and fantastic views from the beautiful lawned grounds of the Hotel over to the Isle of Skye. Would make a very memorable venue for a wedding

Absolutely gorgeous Inn, room was fantastic and we had a door directly onto the garden which was great for the dogs. The room was decorated beautifully and I could have spent all day in the shower with the view over to Skye. Live music at the weekend was brilliant, food was out of this world and we felt so comfortable... More

Spent a week staying in a self catering cottage in Glenelg within 5 minutes walk of the Glenelg Inn. Ate three times and also popped in for a few post-walk pints. Fantastic food and decent beer. Dog friendly too :-) Will definitely be back!

Stopped for lunch and had a lovely meal. The menu was interesting, Afternoon pub menu of sandwiches looked good. The bread was fantastic and the home made soup was delicious. And it's also a lovely pub. Great drive there too! It's also very dog friendly.

Booked a table for four, assured that a good selection of different meat choices available. Ordered the Sunday roast pork, consisted of two thin slices of shoulder of pork, (cheapest cut available from the carcass), three small boiled potatoes, two small pieces of diced carrot, two small slices of leek, a slice of pan fried cauliflower & a drizzle of... This is the second time we've been to the Glenelg inn - set in a beautiful area of the world, far removed from the excesses of modern life. The people are terrific - both sides of the bar - and really make the inn one of the special places in the world. The food is good, the service is excellent... More

I love the Glenelg inn ... Great place with great people on both sides of the bar .... Can't wait to go back. It has a welcoming feel and a good selection of beer and whiskey. The food is very nice with a really good menu. Oh and not to mention the view of Skye from the garden and the... More

We're recently stayed for a week in Glenelg. Having called in for a drink the day we arrived, we went back 3 times during the week to eat there. It's a great place, just what you want from a traditional pub. Full of local character, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, particularly enjoyed the freshly landed...
