My husband and I chose this hoter for maternity trip. quite calm and relaxed atomsphere and we enjoyed the hotel. From 15:00-18:00, fresh tomatos and cucambes with delicious miso are served at the entrance . You can use library with coffee or tea. I stayed in this Ryokan for 1 night on 20th April 2014. Overall, the whole experience is very pleasing. The room is fairly big, the food is nice (Kaiseki Dinner + Japanese Breakfast). This hotel is the best one in ski-area of Hakuba,which is traditional and fantastic snow resorts. It takes about 30 minutes to the Hakuba-Goryu snow resorts by the hotel'bus. This hotel have a nice hot spring.

We stayed in Kai Alps for 4 nights. We were warmly welcome at the front gate and the check in was quick and easy.
