Perfect location, excellent breakfast buffet with many dietary options and our newly renovated room was spacious, spotless and quiet. The in-house onsens were an added bonus after a day of sightseeing in lovely Lake Suwa.

I stayed in the annex building’s room. Room was a little tiny but acceptable for 1 pax. There were 3 different onsens area, and I enjoyed soaking in the 14f one. Breakfast buffet was nice too! Please take the shuttle bus if you have big luggages

Located not far from Kamisuwa station & facing beautiful lake Suwa (just across the road). Kamisuwa tourist center is so nice to help us call hotel for pickup from station. Arigato! Our room was on high floor facing lake Suwa. Very nice modern clean comfortable room. Love the lake view! Dinner is wide spread of buffet (a little disappointed as we thot is Japanese set dinner, its not stated in the booking so we didnt know what to expect). But we enjoyed the dinner, both food & dessert are delicious! especially the small orange is so juicy! & the soft jelly is good! Onsen on top floor is big & oversee Lake Suwa while outdoor onsen on lower floor is smaller & quite enclosed so no view, bathroom only 1 in outdoor. No one was there, so the whole place to myself :D After onsen & dinner could do some shopping in the shop in hotel lobby area. Glad to find free coffee outside dinning room :) Breakfast is buffet wide varieties, love Japanese seaweed & vegetables. Hotel has few time slots a day (think 4) to send hotel guest to Kamisuwa station. So be sure to inform hotel staff early to reserve the seat. Wish have more time to take a stroll along lake Suwa but was drizzling in the morning & we need to leave for next destination. Overall we enjoyed the stay!…

My husband and I stayed for 1 night in Hotel Beniya. It was picked by my husband because he wanted to see Lake Suwa. The hotel's location is ok not too close and not too far from train station. By foot if u don't have to lug any luggages I'd say u can do that and the walk will be abt 15 minutes. But if u have luggages I'd suggest to take a cab from the train station. But then there's a problem, by cab it's less than 5 minutes taxi ride, so it makes some cab driver mad, cos it's too near. I got a mad driver and it was very unpleasant. As for the service at the hotel, it was very good. All was very nice, polite, and helpful. I asked for directions and they really helped me to make sure I know my way. They even printed out the train schedule for me. They really were very helpful. The room we got is a smoking room which we regretted cos we forgot to request for a non smoking room. Room is standard. Kind of small but ok. One thing I really loved was the breakfast. It was already included in the room rate. I loved the bf, has quite a variety of food choices and it was really delicious. We also took a short stroll at Lake Suwa which is just across the hotel. Nothing much to do there. Outside the hotel there are some restaurants and also a convenient store. …

Excellent hotel across from Suwa Lake with a gorgeous view from both men and women hot spring. Friendly and helpful staff that are bi-lingual. Breakfast was very good and the curry is outstanding. In my opinion an excellent value.
