I cannot rate this bed & breakfast highly enough. From the moment we entered the b & b we felt such a warm feeling about it. The was very clean, comfy and the all the rooms were spacious. The owner Angela greeted us at the door and from that moment on it felt like we had known her for ever... More

My original plan was to find accommodation on Skye, however as night started to close in I realised I'd have to stay on the mainland. Dornie is a beautiful place, I was taken aback on looking out across the water in the morning. The accommodation was recommended to me by the owner of the Clachan around the corner. Angela was... Stayed here on our way back north after a few days in Harris and it was lovely, room was comfortable and clean and bed was super comfy. We slept so well. Breakfast was amazing Angela was great, plenty of everything for us and set us up for the day! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there in April this year and one night a few years ago. The owner is very friendly and very welcoming. Our room was big and clean. We even had a private bathroom. It's not expensive though. We stayed there with our four fur babies:) Breakfast was delicious and nicely served. We would defo come back to Sonas again.

Although it some time since we stayed at Sona's, I wanted to say how impressed we were with Angela's friendliness, delicious cooking, local knowledge, sense of humour and fun. In fact we stayed twice on our to visit Skye , Harris and Lewis and on our return. It was that good! We would have stayed longer if our itinerary allowed... More

This bed and breakfast is quite small, but it is quite lovely. The owners are so friendly and so welcoming. Prior to the trip, I called a bunch of times to confirm a few things and ask all sorts of questions. And the owners were quite patient with me and so hospitable and welcoming. When we arrived, my friends and... More

Great stay here for 2 nights as part of a group. Rooms are lovely and clean, and I had the room to the front with a private bathroom next to it. Lovely to be made so welcome and the owners are so friendly. Great breakfast in the morning, sets you up for the day. Definitely recommend this wee gem.

We toured the castle Eilean Donan, and stopped in Dornie for the night. The rooms were spacious, the hostess was incredibly warm and gracious, and every amenity was fantastic. The breakfast the next morning felt like we were visiting somebody's auntie, and Angela doted on us like family. Next time I'm back up through the highlands (which will hopefully be... More

My wife and I have just returned from another of our regular visits to the wonderfully scenic Wester Ross and once again based ourselves in Dornie. As we have done for many years we stayed in Angela's excellent B&B Sonas where, as usual we were welcomed as old friends. Angela invariably gives both regulars like ourselves and newcomers alike, a... More
