We enjoyed our one night stay here. Our room had everything we required. The decor of the hotel is easy on the eye, the public areas are very comfortable, the food is very good and the location is pleasant. The owner/manager is very friendly and I would certainly stay again if in the area.

My husband and I were on a 9 day tour of the Highlands, with three nights at the Tingle Creek Hotel. While we were touring Scotland our bags were in Amsterdam and of course I had packed my heavier jacket. The temps were unseasonably cold for this time of year. Andy, the owner, stepped up big time, he loaned me... More

The Tingle Creek is located in the secluded village of Erbusaig. If you get the chance and depending from where you are coming, take the route via Applecross - it's truly stunning. We stayed in room #3 which was fairly spacious (especially the bathroom which was nice after all the tiny BnB-bathrooms). The staff was super friendly and helpful. We... More

This is an older, family owned hotel with smallish, clean rooms and a gorgeous view of a bay. The restaurant is large and splendid but the real attraction is Andrew the Innkeeper who mans the front desk, tends, the bar, and even waits tables. Andy (as he asked us to call him) could be the poster lad for Scots wit... More

What a little gem. Andy is very welcoming and the hotel is lovely. The bedrooms are beautiful (we were in room 1) and breakfast was very good. Beautiful views from the restaurant. All in all worth a visit. Restaurant was closed the night we arrived but that did not taken away from the visit.

We arrived after a long day's drive and we quite tired (I was traveling with my 91 year odl mum, so comfort was a key). We were more than ready to relax and have a good meal. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at just how quaint and picturesque the setting was for the hotel. It was a sign... More

Just outside Kyle of Lochalsh, this family run hotel is a very good choice for a stopover. The restaurant offers a splendid view of the Isle of Skye. As a guest, Andy and Morag Bates takes very good care of you with the help of a young and attentive staff.

Everything we wanted and more in an hotel. A delight. Andy, the youthful looking owner, is the epitome of an attentive, professional, committed and charming hotel proprietor. Tingle Creek is run extremely well and the restaurant staff actually looked confident and dare I say happy? – definitely worth commenting on. Andy genuinely cares for his guests and he always seemed... More

Had a wonderful 2 nights at Tingle Creek. Food was fantastic, rooms were cosy and recently refurbed to a high standard. Andy was just perfect host with quite the sense of humour! Only downside for us was the value for money, a little pricey for a backwater hotel. Still, we were with good company and everything else about the place... More

We were two couples touring the highlands over 7 days. We had prebooked Tingle Creek when there were only 2 rooms remaining for the night. We were at the back of the hotel and did not overlook the glorious bay at the front. The weather was rather dull and raining but it was obvious on a good day the view... More
