The hotel is located at the northest spot at Notohantou, with its facilities right along the coast. The view is georgeous, and the hot spring quality is good, just slightly salty, and won't urt the skin. The service is outstading and lmost every staff can speak English. The only thing we are not satisfied is the dinner because the ingredients... More

Onsen - the highlight of this ryokan, there is nothing better than having a private bath while listening to the roar of the ocean. And because it's a ryokan with less than 15 rooms, it's very private. We loved the atmosphere. Food - it was crab season when we stayed there, but the fish and the seaweed stole the show.... More

It was much more expensive than other places we stayed but we really enjoyed this romantic break (even though travelling with little kid). We were upgraded for villa:)They take care about you since the very first moment you enter... More

The whole experience, because yes it is an experience, was amazing from the minute we step into this place until the check-out. It was the best place we ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and beautifful, the views are incredible, the food is excellent. The service is astonishing, the lady who took care of us was always there whenever... More

This was by far and away the most romantic place I have ever stayed. A truly spectacular facility nestled between the bottom of a cliff and the ocean. Superlatives begin to fail, the rooms are gorgeous and well appointed (in a ryokan spartan way). I assume all the rooms, ours anyway, had an indoor wooden soak tub, but the sliding... More
