This hotel locates at the edge of the center of Wakura-Onsen which is about one hours train ride from Kanazawa. I wished to book another big name hotel but they had only very expensive rooms. great service,very nice property and hotspring. only negative is the long walk to the bath. food was excellent in the restaurant. great view from the room and nice promenade to walk along the ocean and a park nearby with a foot bath to soak you feet.

The Notoraku hotel is a beautiful hotel with excellent onsen in the heart of Wakura. Whilst Kagaya Hotel is believed to be the best hotel to stay in Wakura, the Notoraku can't be far off. This hotel is expensive but I guess in this case you get what you pay for. We were quite fortunate as they double booked us so they upgraded us to a larger room on the top floor for no extra charge. The Onsen there is really nice and quite large. They do have a small pool which is quite shallow... More
