We were given a night at Kogure by some Japanese friends as a Wedding present so I can't comment on price but if you are looking to splurge on an Onsen experience I would highly recommend Kogure. This huge hotel is one of the oldest in Idaho Area. It is a few minutes away from the Stone Stair. The onsen is amazingly huge and change sides for women and men.
