I recently had the opportunity to visit the Molise region of Italy for two special events: The Festa di San Pardo in Larino featuring 130 flower-covered ox drawn carts and the traditional transumanza...a cattle drive from the winter to the summer pastures. Our first two nights were spent here at the B&B home of the Raimondos. The welcoming drive up... More

This is a family-run B&B which offers a true home away from home. The owners are very eager to satisfy clients' needs, however with extreme discretion. The rooms are very spacious and clean. There is absolute silence at night, favoring a good night's sleep. Breakfast is incredibly rich as the lady of the house, Mrs. Raimondo, personally prepares typical regional... More

The three of us ...my wife, sister and I had a wonderful and most pleasant stay at Mille Ulivi. The feeling was like being a guest of a family friend's home. Pasquale and Assunta were so gracious. The grounds and view of the hillside with all the olive trees was spectacular every morning at breakfast. The food prepared each morning... More

We stayed at Mille Ulivi as part of a cycling tour through the Molise countryside. We were heartily welcomed by the owners, the Raimundo family, on arrival and had a very nice well equiped and beautifull decorated appartment consisting of a living room, bedroom and bathroom to stay. In the morning an excellent fresh breakfast was served in a room... More

The experience at Mille Ulivi in Larino, Italy was magnificent. The owners of this bed and breakfast are cordial, helpful and affable. They made sure we were comfortable and served a delicious breakfast - almost like a brunch. It was just superb! The surrounding landscape was soothing to the eyes and relaxing. The accommodations were clean and spacious. I would... More

We returned to Lariino, my ancestral village to gather more information about my grandparents. Our original visit, two years prior had not yielded too much concerning my mother's parents due to a recent earthquake which caused the church records to be scattered and not accessible. Pasquale, Assunta (fantastic cook!) and Barbara where as gracious and welcoming as they were on... More

The main purpose of our trip was for my wife to trace the origins of her Italian grandfather. Up to this point we opted for apartments and high volume tourist destinations. Our vacation in Italy would not have been as rewarding and memorable had we not met the very inviting Raimondo family. From the moment we stepped off the bus... More

Breakfast served in a beautiful private room with a view of Montorio nei Frentana on a hilltop! We had an apartment which was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Pasquale + Assumpta were fantastic hosts, the their home was fantastic!! A must; stayed 3 nights and it could have been for a week!!

The hosts, Pasquale and Asumpta were so wonderful and accommodating. They emit a calm relaxing vibe and their home is landscaped in the same way... calming, quite, just beautiful. The breakfast room was private and magical. You can gaze out onto the olive orchards and rolling hills while you eat fresk-baked local pastries and homemade cured meats. Your own private... More
