We wanted to spend a night in Corleone (Godfather lovers). The room seems okay, but airco did not work, neither id the wifi. Our toilet window opened in the breakfast room, so in the morning we did not dare to flush the toilet. The terrace seemed nice, but chairs we broken. Breakfast was poor, with coffee from a machine, bad... More

We spent a night at the hotel, beeing among the very fwe guests at this time of the year. The place was very quiet, the rooms were small but nicely furnished, clean and well kept, the breakfast was enjoyable. In the evening we had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel downstairs, which was quite good either. In the high... More

On our way to Agrigento, we stopped and had a great lunch. All our family enjoyed fresh food well cooked. i would go back for the food. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and fresh. Very pleasant staff and surroundings.

The rooms are above the restaurant. As the building is a concrete structure, noise propagates from below with quite some intensity. Other guests entering can also be heard in great detail. The a/c wasn't functioning so with the balcony doors open you get it from the kids and cars in the street and the local dogs as well. So bring... More

We stayed here on a cycling trip across Sicily. Strangely, all the other guests were also cyclists, perhaps because the hotel has secure parking for bikes. It was early May and the hotel was not full. The hotel was difficult to find from the town centre. It was basic and devoid of any charm, but clean and quiet. We paid... More

The Hotel is really fine: it's clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff is there when you need something and the boss is a nice and funny guy. I'm not sure about the fresco painted on a room's wall (see picture!). Apart from the cakes, breakfast is a bit desappointing: instant coffee, synthectic fruit juice but the boss will be happy... This hotel is located by the main road into Corleone from Palermo, but a 10-15 minutes walk from the main square and the old town, which is where you'll want to be. (Be aware of the cars, both the ones parked on all the sidewalks and the ones in the streets - be prepared to press up against a wall... More

After much hunting we finally found this hotel. It is in the middle of the intersection of three streets. The reception, registration and restaurant are on the left side of the hotel, then you have to go outside, around and up a hill to get to the door where the rooms are located on the other side of the building.... My wife and I stayed at Leon d'Oro for two nights in June 2011. The service was nothing special and the food was disappointing. The spaghetti sauce tasted like a bland pizza sauce any proud Italian would be embarrassed to serve. During our stay, the restaurant staff had a funny custom of eating together at a table (while patrons waited)... More
