There is something very special about this unassuming, yet charming property. You drive off the highway, through some vineyards and then, soon enough, find yourself in the middle of old wine production facilities which straddle both sides of the road. I remember thinking, where's the hotel? The manor house is actually connected to the warehouse structures via a separate entrance.... More

This is a really lovely little B & B. As a previous reviewer said it's of a very nice shabby chic style, an old building but really beautifully completed. Quite and serene and served by really delightful & helpful Team I personally think issue here is that it is a b&b really with a restaurant near. It is not managed... More

As an earlier reviewer commented the hotel seems to be living off former accolades and reputation and while rooms are adequate some staff ( especially weekend staff ) seemed complacent . Our experience was that this comment is fair of the hotel . Even though we had booked almost a year in advance we were still only offered narrow single... More

The wine tour was great but the rooms and staff were exceptionally great. Do not miss the restaurant on the Western part of the vineyard. The food and atmosphere was outstanding and we could have stayed there for a week if we had the time. I would go back there and just stay there even thought the rest of Chile... More

We were really looking forward to being pampered at the Casa Silva - it didn't happen. Diffident reception staff gave no explanation of the rooms or the hotel amenities - consequently, we didn't know until we left that a winery tour was on offer. The rooms were on the shabby side of shabby chic - and the bathrooms could have... More

During my wife and I visit to Chile over Thanksgiving, we toured the winery and then did a wine tasting. This was our first taste of the Carmere grape and this became our "go to grape" during our visit. We picked up two bottles. We viewed the owners collection of cars. We had a excellent lunch (huge streak and chocolate... More

My husband and I had a private tour of the winery and did a tasting at the end. The tour guide didn't show us the wine barrels or steel tanks and didn't talk about the wine making process at all. The whole tour seemed to focus around the owner's fancy cars and the hotel. We paid for a winery tour... More

We had a "complete" experience at Casa Silva. We enjoyed a wine tasting with Hospitality Manager Thomas Wilkes Biggs. He is a passionate man who is an eloquent spokesman for his industry. Full disclosure...my husband and I are wine producers. We can only hope to imitate his leadership in his region. We enjoyed dinner at Casa Silva's restaurant on the... More

Even if I was in this hotel for business reasons, I hope I will be able to return there during a private trip. From the business apsect the room was big, nicely decorated and the Wifi worked much betterr than in many other international 5* chain hotels. The breakfast offer was small but excellent and a special plus is the... More

A superb place to stay, with little sign of the "amateurish" nature expressed by some other reviews. Rooms were elegant and spacious, staff were helpful and efficient. Courtyard and pool, with plenty of sun - and shade when needed. The restaurant in the polo club, a kilometre away through the vineyards is one of the best we have been to... More
