This is the Third or Fourth time we have stayed here (Would have reviewed all of those stays too but they were close together and Trip advisor wouldn't let us. Do they think it is impossible that frequent stays so close together could possibly be entirely different? so we have reviewed only once previously.) Anyway - We came down as... More

Don't bother. Hotel not up to standard & paying for an executive room is not worth the money. Needs a complete refurb. Room shabby, uncomfortable bed, damaged head board, cracked tiles in the bathroom. Only good thing is secure parking & a view of the cricket pitch. A travel lodge would be just as good & probably cheaper!

I stayed here for one night mid week. When we tried to check in we didn't realise that the hotel had only been reserved and hadn't been paid for. The receptionist was very rude when dealing with us and was explaining to us that we hadn't paid for the hotel and spoke to us like we were idiots. My dad... More

Just recently stayed here, from the 7th till the 8th of March. When we arrived there was a man on reception, and he was extremely helpful. We asked if we could order a take away, and was told yes. Then we needed plates and cutlery, so we asked if we could have some and they said yes, then when we... More

Rooms we're clean and comfortable. On website pitch side rooms were advertised on pictures so expected a view of the pitch. However this is an executive room which you have to pay extra for. Not sure if the website was misleading or if I read it wrong. Breakfast was continental tho expected a cooked breakfast to be available but it... More

We booked a late room at a bargain price of £33 for twin with breakfast. This is possibly the best value hotel room I have ever experienced. Don't know what people are moaning about regarding the food. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were charming and all in all a very good experience. It was... More

Very friendly welcome, good location and nice clean room. Cold when we arrived but they soon sorted heater for us. Breakfast was good, and overall excellent value for money. Free secure parking was a huge bonus.

I have just got back from staying at this hotel and can honestly say I would recommend it. The rooms are lovely n clean, the bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff are nice and friendly. The only downfall is you don't have the option of a fried breakfast, but what you do get is nice. I stayed in an... More

Stayed here for one night 15/02. Reasonably priced, room ok but nothing spectacular and the bed seemed rather small. Free parking which is a bonus but breakfast let the place down. If you're a meat eater there were 3/4 choices of what looked like packeted sliced meat and two varieties of sliced cheese which if I'm honest the whole lot... More
