I would suggest this hotel is great if you're there for the cricket, however if you're there for business then don't, just don't. The adjoining venue is stunning, and great for events, but this hotel really lets it down. The rooms are tiny, but have a stunning view of the pitch and a balcony, which was the saving grace (if... We stay here at least 3-4 times a year to watch either Lancashire or England play. We absolutely love being able to watch the game with complete convenience. We have always found the staff to be very helpful, the rooms always clean and breakfast more than satisfactory for continental affair. I would say on our recent stay that the balconies... More

Stayed here through business for two nights booked by my employer so I had no input on location or room type. I had a Standard room over looking the car park, to say the accommodation is compact is somewhat generous by any standards. The bathroom contains no bath but a corner shower cubicle to which the riser rail contained a... More

We stayed at the lodge in June 2014 for one night after our wedding reception at the Lancashire Cricket Club which is next door to the lodge. It was the ideal location for us as it was just a stones throw away from our reception. The room – The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. We upgraded to an... More

This was my second stay at the lodge to attend a exhibition at the LCC Hub. Simply put it is the perfect value option for attending anything at LCC or even in Manchester as centre of city can be easily accessed. Rooms are small but spotlessly clean, modern and sleep quality perfect as set back from main road. Continental breakfast... More

This was our umpteenth stay at the Old Trafford Lodge over many years. For cricket lovers, it is its location that is its main selling point. Right on the cricket ground itself and with half its rooms overlooking the playing area, it is the ideal place to watch a match. All the rooms at the back (those facing the ground)... More

This was our first visit to the old Trafford lodge, my wife is an ardent cricket fan so this was an ideal day out. On arrival the lodge looks quite impressive and checking in was a breeze, the reception staff were both helpful and very pleasant, the bar area is only very small and although it wasn't very busy when...
