Arrived here late evening with a friend after travelling from Rotherham (evening football match) and found two lovely chaps on reception to be very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We dropped our bags off at our room and came back down for a snack which the two gentlemen on reception were more than happy to arrange. The room was small but... more
Everything was fine.. ...if anything ...the cleaners could start a little later in the morning, as the walls are a bit on the thin side , and some guests might like a lie-in !... Otherwise rooms very clean , have all the requirements from hairdryer to Ironing board and tea making facilities. The bathroom was modern and clean. Get an... more

Rooms and extremely clean and the staff are amazing. it is walking distance to manchester united football...which was very important to my partner! the metro to the city is also only 4 or 5 minutes walk. Spent a night at the Old Trafford Lodge to visit the attractions in Manchester. I cannot fault this hotel for value. The rooms are well equiped and very clean, the view over the cricket picture was a delight and the service friendly and very effecient. Great Budget Hotel! We only wanted a hotel for 1 night as we went to see a comedian in the MEN Arena in Manchester. This was really well priced (we got it for £44 per room bed and breakfast, executive room) It was clean and staff were plesant. The view from our room of the cricket pitch was nice. A... more

Stayed overnight and paid £44 for a room a few months previously and this seems to be the cheapest you can get. The room takes a max of 2 adults and 2 children in a double bed and sofa bed and the £44 would cover everyone. The rooms are quite small but modern, clean and have just about everything you... more
Stayed here for four nights, and would come back. There was nothing special about it, but it was clean, modern and had all the facilities you would expect. It was also reasonably priced. I was working in Manchester and it is just 10 minutes to the city centre and much cheaper than a city centre hotel. Breakfast was a good... more
I have stayed here twice now and always had a great stay. The executive rooms are well worth the extra money as you get a lovely big balcony with views over the cricket pitch - a nice treat for the middle of a city. The rooms are decorated in a modern style with good facilities, such as Sky TV and... more
