I stayed here due to work commitments and had to find a budget hotel in Manchester. This place didn't disapoint. I've stayed in a lot worse over the years. Only thing I thought was the place could do with a bit of tlc. It was clean but was looking a bit tired in places and there was a bit of... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as it is very near to Old Trafford cricket ground. It is quite an experience! My room was very big and roomy with a very good television, but there was only one chair which meant I had to sit on a single bed to watch the tv (my wife claimed the chair) and the double... More

A cheap hotel in need of a major refurb. I was in a single room (22) for one night (thankfully). From check in at the bar! It had the appearance of a run down hotel and all the way to my single room it was the same peeling wallpaper duck tape holding the carpet down, generally not a place I... More

Just back from 6 nights at the Trafford Hall Hotel. We were made to feel so welcome & at home from the time we arrived till the time we left. My husband is disabled so we had requested a ground floor room. Due to the style of the building there are no rooms actually at ground level, but we were... More

Booked a single and a double. Rooms were dated and in a state of disrepair. Single bedroom door would not lock. Layers of dust that flew off the door closer when you opened and closed the door, veneers was being pulled off the door by the closer. Double bedroom draught excluder pulled halfway off the door. Bathroom floor tiles broken.... More

This hotel was great value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a nice clean comfortable en suite room. We stayed 2 nights and the room was cleaned each day to a high standard. The reception we had was first class, ad the bar is clean organised and well run, there is a large flat screen... More

Was excellently greated when we arrived, the reception area was very professional, clean and nice. The hotel itself looked grand on in the inside when you walk through, room was clean and had a nice welcome pack when we walked in. It had a nice clean double bed and had shower gel and soap minis with plenty of clean towels... More

It's actually far from Manchester city centre (add £5 on your budget for tram, every day). Dont count on going there on foot. The place is a lil bit old, not refurbished at all. Some things are a bit oxidized, and it'd be very easy (and cheap) to get changed. Rooms were ok, but water pressure in the shower was... More
