If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful break then Hotel Costa Azul is the perfect place. Situated in a quiet spot just five minutes from the beach this small friendly hotel offers clean modern comfortable rooms, a lovely private pool where the only sound you can hear is wood pigeons and an occasional car passing by. There is also a... More

This is a lovely hotel with lots of extras, fabulous service, a very big pool and a great breakfast. We liked the really good sized rooms, the view and the excellent food. Personally I don't like TVs on the dining room and some of the hotel is getting a little bit tired in places, but overall it was very good... More

Eccentrically Charming in everyway. 18 rooms I think, out of the way very modern. Go for a walk down a lane, under the railway bridge and be surprised by a wonderous beach, sandy long & deep. Food was good to excellent. This place would be quite crowded in the height of the season as a lot of Italians go there.... More

I'm sorry to say that this hotel it is one the worse I've ever been in my life!! the main reason is the location! Located outside Balestrate in a very "odd" housing place, let me say a kind of garbage dump, far away from everywhere and under a motorwaybridge and nearby a forgotten railway. The worse...full of garbage everywhere! And... More

We returned to the Costa Azul having enjoyed a wounderful stay last year and were not disappointed this year either. The hotel, bedrooms, swimming pool were spotlessly clean and management and staff as friendly and helpful as ever. We enjoyed really good local, authentic food dining al fresco. They laid a table for us outside when everyone else was eating... More

A small hotel (just 18 rooms) and almost empty when we went, but spotlessly clean and well run. In fact the only thing we would criticise is the harsh lighting in the restaurant. The food was very good - we got a menu to choose from at breakfast each day and spent time looking forward to our evening meal. Great... More

Cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel,I was amazed to find out that we had to pay for the use of a towel for around the pool. The owner and all the staff were very friendly, however I found that it was impossible to have the use of the pool on our last 2days as the owner s family took... More

We went by car and booked this hotel because it was near the airport. Happy it was just for one night. They charge you for use of towels. You are not allowed to take the towels that you obviously rent with the room out of the room. So you must pay to have towels for the beach or pool. Stayed... More

A spotlessly clean efficiently run hotel. All staff very helpful and friendly. Swimming pool with comfortable loungers, safari umbrellas, a delightful place to while away an afternoon. Food in relation to cost first class, very Sicilian with fresh local produce. A bit outside Balestrata so a car is helpful.

I will give this hotel one mark for cleanliness and that is all because the food was just awful. The chef if thats what they call him could not cook. My 13 yr old grand-daughter could have done a better job and what put me off was the menu every morning on breakfast table asking you to tick off what... More
