It was a very nice week, I have nothing to complain about.Andrea is very kind. Avola is not very exciting but a good base for Car trips around Southeast sicilia. ----------------------------------------

Don Paolino is no tough guy. He's a sweetheart, quiet but eager to make you feel at home. He remodeled the Tenuta himself (he is an architect) and has quite a talent for making jam and making beds. For six nights we experienced the luxury of a hotel with the peace of a private country home. We enjoyed spending the... More

If you're going to visit Noto, Modica, Siracusa, Vendicari , ecc. look no further. You've found the perfect spot with immaculate and modern rooms, a kitchen that's available to you for snacks and cooking, and a most wonderful and congenial host. Paolo has created a Mecca amongst his lemon grove. Nearby the local train chugs past a few times a... More

This place is sourrounded by lemon trees and allows a real nice, relaxing stay. The rooms are all very modern, everything is clean and furnished with some feeling for design. Paolo is very friendly and let us use his kitchen to prepare a salad for lunch. The house has a a nice roof top terrace to share. All in all... More

We stayed at Tenuta Don Paolino for 4 nights, and we loved it! We got a big room (for 3 persons, though we were only 2) with a nice bathroom. Loved the shower. The whole B&B was always very clean, and the breakfast was good (white bread, croissants, jams, cheese, juices, whatever coffee you would like). Loved the big porch... More

We spent a week at Tenuta don Paolino and absolutely loved it. I was actually tempted to keep this secret, since we would not want many people to find out about this small gem in one of the most fascinating corners of Sicily. Paolo is a kind and charming host: he prepares great breakfasts in the morning (a rarity in... More

If you're renting a car anyway, why bothering with traffic and tourists right in front of your bedroom window. We found the perfect place while staying at Paolo's pituresque windmill between lovely smelling lemon trees. Calm, clean, great breakfast even for Germans :-) By car you can very easily reach Noto, Siracusa, a natural beach, Roman villa etc. as there... More

First of all many thanks to the owner Paolo for making sure the property had all the comforts to make it a great vacation. The "tenuta" sits on a beautiful field full of lemon trees and other fruit trees, we could pick up has many as we wanted... and we did! The location is strategic if you want to visit... More

We stayed 4 days in May 2013 and for us it was like a haven in Siciliy. First, the hospitality of Paolo and his father. They were very warm to us and always trying to help and advising us about places to visit, restaurants, etc... The room was very special, clean and tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure to have... We rented the whole house on a self-catering basis for a week in April. It's a beautiful, well appointed house, designed by the owner and surrounded by lemon trees. Paolo was friendly and helpful. There's a fantastic huge balcony with distant views to the sea, also great outdoor space at ground level and use of barbecue. Car essential but great... More
