Lovely setting on the water at Harbour Island, cool, clean contemporary look and air conditioned for a hot lazy Sunday afternoon. Food was good, we had two baskets and an alcoholic milkshake (yum!) Also light meals and burgers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Open from 11 am-11pm. There was music in the background and on Thursday evenings a band provides... More

This lounge is a welcome addition to Gordon's Bay. The lounge is spotlessly clean, the service is friendly and the menu offers tasty alternatives. The air conditioned lounge overlooks the Harbour Island Marina with outdoor seating as well. We tried the pork belly and calamari baskets and were pleasantly surprised. Will go back and will take friends along.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated and it retained the features that makes it such a unique and special place, including all the breath taking views of the False Bay coast. We really missed the self-catering amenities but other than that our stay was excellent.

Non-existing service. Front desk arrogant and unfriendly. No porter. Substandard in every possible way. Breakfast not worth the money. Wimpy is lots better. Broken doors, dirty balconies, can go on. They should rather close it down or only charge R200 per night. It is not worth a cent more.

Checked in today for holiday stay of 4 days. Having driven 300km to get here at check-in time, room not ready. No apology, no explanation. Reception staff swearing on the phone in the background. Waited 45 minutes. Room not vacuumed or properly cleaned. Smells mouldy. Swimming pool water dark green ! Maintenance manager has no clue. Says it will be... More

The service and location of this hotel is spectacular. The original building quality seems to have been bad. Plenty of cracks and the swimming pool is leaking into the foyer. We understand the hotel has been sold and that a refurbishment is underway. Over all though a good experience

Our car was broken into despite signs of 24 hr surveillance. This was in basement parking, which sopposedly isunder 24 hr surveilance. Seems to be issues with regard to who is in control of basement parking I.e. body corporate or hotel itself. This should not be the problem of the guest! 7 hours later, I am still waiting for Johan... More

We visited the hotel twice. Both times enjoyed our stay. Stayed at the one bedroom suite. It was comfortable, nice and clean and it was leading to the terrace and the pool. The view was beautiful. The place is strategically positioned so that you're close to Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Would visit the hotel again.

I booked this hotel for 1 night only as my husband and I had a function in the area and did not want to drive home late. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one to greet us, it was only 18h00. The receptionist was not very interested in helping us, and gave us our room key card.... More

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. My Partner and I happened on the hotel, needing one night in Gordons Bay. From outside it looked OK. Once we booked in though we were upgraded to a suite for the price of a standard room, which made us stay. Where do I begin...the place was empty- we felt alone... More
