This was the third time I have stayed at Berg en Zee...for a reason!! Although I live in Nelspruit, I love the sea. For 16 years I was part of a national company and had to travel regularly to all nine provinces . I stayed at so many known guest houses, but I can honestly say the the level of... More

There was something magical about looking at sea views over Gordon Bay from your own balcony. The service was very friendly and helpful with several other rooms available for guests. Good eateries in safe walking distance and beaches to paddle or fish from. A place that we hope to return to.

My husband and I always stay here when we visit GB. Incredible bay view with dolphins and whales if you are lucky. Great breakfast. Rooms divine and spotless in every way. Old world charm. Safe and comfortable. Jackie is the owner and will make sure your stay is unforgettable. See you soon.

Although I have previously stayed at tis guesthouse, I was once again impressed by the level of service from the staff and the excellent value for money at this establishment. My room had a beautiful view of the bay and surroundings and was top quality.

First of all, let me say: don't be fooled by the term 'guest house'. I've stayed in 4 star hotels that don't come anywhere close to the standards you'll find here. The rooms are cleaned and serviced every day to a very high standard, there's a decent shower with plenty of hot water, the staff are friendly and helpful, the... More

Went to Berg en Zee early in May this year for our honeymoon in CT. Was incredible, we were greeted with the sun setting over the ocean (view from the bedroom) and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us. Jackie gave us fantastic advice on wine routes and food places, and Khumbulani was always ready to help with... More

It was a real pleasure to welcome you for your honeymoon. We particularly enjoyed your story about watching the sunrise from your balcony. Luckily you had a view of the sun going up and coming down from your room. Hope to see you again soon. More

Dear Susan. Thank you very much for your review and for your positive comments. Sorry about the fact that we had no-one to help with your cases upon arrival. We normally would be able to assist but our staff usually go home before 10pm. Unfortunately, most of the establishments in Gordon's Bay have stairs because the town is built on... More

We recently spent 4 nights at this lovely Guest House in Gordon's Bay. We were made to feel very welcome, the room was lovely and clean and there was a good choice for breakfast. The balcony looked out to the bay which was beautiful. There are restaurants nearby, all in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Jackie and team... More

I recently stayed at Berg en Zee for the fifteenth time and have already booked my next stay. It feels like my second home and the staff are my South African family. It's always such a pleasure to stay at this friendly guesthouse and to enjoy all the days trips in the surrounding areas. Gordon's Bay is the perfect location... More
