there were many positive elements to this ryokan on kashikojima even on a mid-winter visit. Basaratei ryokan is superlative. The rooms are beautiful - from the cathedral ceiling, futon bed and tatami floor to the timber bathing room, atmospheric lighting and private hot tub on a balcony overlooking the bay.
