Perfect location right by the train station but the hotel is far enough away and constructed well enough that you do not hear the noise. Has balconies for each room. The lobby is very big and beautiful. A/C was a bit difficult to figure out since it is all in Japanese and was difficult to turn on. rooms are quite... More

Next to Mikawa Anjo train station (local train and Shinkansen), this hotel is wel situated for a business trip in the neighborhood of Nagoya. Rooms are large enough and cozy. Breakfast is made of typical japanese food, but also occidental food, you will have the choice. Employees are very polite and always available (confirming the way we can imagine Japanese... More

I booked this hotel for our foreign clients. Since this hotel is famous for their wedding business, the building and the lobby looked very nice and fancy. I did not see/used thehote rooms, but used two of their restaurants for business meeting/dineer. "Cafe Malibu" was average. But I was really dissapointed by the attitude of Japanese restaurant "Shouan" waitresses. These... More

I use this hotel whenever I come on business. It is very well run (you may even see a wedding!) and staff very helpful. Rooms are a very generous size (compared with the usual Japanese hotels, in my experience) with free internet to your own laptop. Only downside - not too many English TV channels.

The Grand Tiara Anjo is conveniently located opposite the main train station. There are sufficient restaurants nearby, you just need to be willing to walk about to find them. The rooms at this hotel are nice, clean and no sign of the wear and tear menioned in the other review. The staff speak sufficient english to get you by, and... More

The Grand Tiara is a beautiful hotel with lots of value. It's comfortable, clean, and quiet. Actually the whole town is. The hotel has no pool, spa, workout center. It's really just a place to get some work done and get a good night sleep.

If you are staying here, you must be visiting a Toyota related company or supplier. Otherwise stay closer into Nagoya as there is much more to do, and there are actually restaurants there. There’s not much in Anjo. Onto the hotel. The Grand Tiara Anjo is the only Western Style hotel in the area, the rest are Japanese Business or... More
