We booked three nights in this hotel in a package including the Brittany Ferry crossing. Our modest expectation was greatly exceeded. The room with ensuite was spacious and spotless. Decor is a little faded in places, but very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was a huge spread with something to please most tastes. The pleasant ,helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable.... This location of this restaurant is very good, but the quality and preparation of the food leaves a lot to be desired. The hamburger sandwich had very little meat and the turkey on the turkey sandwich was a turkey fritter (not tasty) which they described as a beignet. The restaurant was crowded for this lunch service and there were many... More

We've stayed several times at this hotel and always enjoyed the restaurant. The hotel rooms have been refurbished since last visit two years ago when there were road works outside the hotel. We enjoyed the tea/coffee facilities in our room. A pleasant welcome both at hotel reception and restaurant. A fruit de mer was on the menu and I asked... More

We have been staying at this hotel for many years. It's excellent as an overnight stop before heading South. It's not luxury but very clean and tidy. Breakfast is good and reasonably priced. Evening meal a bit expensive but there are lots of other eating places in the pretty town. Will certainly revisit on our next French trip

Hotel is clean and in a nice town. The staff were ok. Rooms are much smaller than the pictures make out, we had a family room which was tiny but very expensive. Paid 40 euros for 5 beers in the hotel bar. Overall it's ok for few nights but go elsewhere to eat and drink

What a nice hotel in the middle of a lovely town. The staff whatever their roles are all pleasant and friendly. The food and drink offering is varied and interesting. Attractively modernised bedroom with good facilities and a large bed. Highly recommend.

Very conveniently located in the centre of Villedieu. Perfect for the first night stop after leaving the daytime Cherbourg ferry. Private and public parking available, restaurants nearby. Unusually for a Logis had kettle in the room with the makings.

My wife and I stayed here for one night - 16 April. Access is easy with level walking and free nearby parking. Booking, reception and check in were efficient, quick and easy. On top of that, very competitively priced for the centre of town. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with all room facilities working well. The town is... More

We booked a deal with Brittany Ferries for the crossing and three nights B&B for three of us and two Labradors. Mixed expectations, but all was great. The rooms were large and well-furnished. Nice and quiet, in spite of being on a corner. Everything clean and working. The buffet breakfast was amazing, lots of choice including a local warm apple... More
