Always clean and comfortable. Wifi a bit hit and miss as are the push on lights but it's well positioned in a lovely town with a very good traditional french resturant, highly recommended as a little little French escape exactly as it should be.

They gave us a room with bath and sink completely stuck! We couldn't have shower in the morning! I noticed to reception! When we paid no cut off price was applied and th e receptioner tried to add breakfast cost (we didn't use that kind of service)

Dear Customer, We are sorry you feel so disappointed after your stay in our establishment. Concerning breakfast, our software adds breakfast automatically, it was just a mistake from our receptionist, she had to ask if you took breakfast before giving your bill. We are astonished to find out your room was not clean enough. Our housekeepers are really experimented and... More

Stayed here for a family wedding nearby. The location of the hotel is excellent in hat it is right in the middle of town, with free municipal parking right outside. You can pay €5 if you want private garaged parking, but unless you're driving a top of the range Porsche or Jag you don't need to bother. Restaurant attached which... More

We stayed here en route to the West Coast. The staff were excellent. I had booked a room near the lift since one of the party was disabled and the room was the first room you came to. The other room, which was for an able bodied traveller, received a complementary upgrade. The bar staff were excellent. We reserved a... More

This is a review of the bar/coffee corner of this hotel. It is about service / attitude of staff, not about the quality of the good. It was half past nine in the evening. We had been to the cinema and decided to have one quick drink before driving home. We walked to the hotel Le Fruitier which was around... More

I stayed there for one night, going to meet some clients. The hotel was highly recommended. My hotel room was the most unusual ever! The decor was somewhat surprising, dark brown and yellow may not be to everyone's tastes, but the most unusual was the split level! The bedroom was upstairs, which was a bit pointless considering I was on... More

This was our third visit the Le Fruitier in 10 months. There is not a lot of choice of hotels in the area, and I have known the hotel for a number of years. The brasserie was closed for renovation this trip, but should be complete in a week or so. This was by far the best room we have... More

We stayed for one night in July after travelling from the ferry port and were disappointed with the standard of accommodation which was some way off pictures on the website. We booked a family room which on a sunny day was stifling hot all night, the two floor room wasn't well ventilated and the upstairs sleeping section had no windows... More

We had booked a room here for 8 nights during July. It was to be part of a celebration of our anniversary and partly as a base to look for property in the area. We were blessed with fantastic weather during our time there. Unfortunately one small thing can (almost) spoil the whole trip. We checked into our room. Pleasant... More

Stayed overnight at this hotel whilst passing through Villedieu les Poeles. Booked a superior double on line and have been very happy with our choice. Good clean and friendly place and had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Food was on the expensive side but well worth it as the quality was superb. Free wi fi which s always... More
