Wonderful little find. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Site and facilities are spotlessly clean. We had a campfire in the night time and it was perfect with the views. We will definatley be back for a second and longer visit.

We have just had two nights at Brook House Farm with two children 4 and under. The owner Julie was really helpful - ice creams on both days from the shop, firewood in the evening etc. We played int he play house and with the kids toys one afternoon - in the lovely lawned area next to the archway in... Stayed here last night...beautiful site. We arrived for our first night in our new campervan and we'd forgot our hook-up cable but weren't bothered so the owner asked if we wanted to park down by the river which we did. £10 each for the night which we thought was expensive to park in a field! Spotless toilets...only 3 tho with... More

I spent the weekend camping here while doing a course a few miles down the road. The facilities were spotless, and kept that way, and the camping area was much better maintained than most campsites, with good grass and not a scrap of litter in sight. Not to mention that Julia is the sort of lady that will bend over... More

We stayed at Brook House Farm for 3 nights camping over Bank holiday weekend. We found Julie to be a great host who tried to accommodate all our needs, nothing was too much trouble for her and we observed her working very hard from dawn till very late trying to look after all her guests. There was however a large... More

The bell tents are a really good idea and the campsite is a lovely spot, if only it had met up to the standards that are advertised. On the website there is a list of what is included in ALL the bell tents (sadly this wasn’t the case for us);- Quality double bed already made – Yes but the bed... More

This is again the same group, this is very naughty to all put such terrible reviews when everything from the belltent to the cooker plus everything in the tent was brand new. They had been drinking all afternoon .All I asked was for them to quieten down and this is the result. No the bell tents are not on a slope. My showers... More

We booked as a large group, three families ,a couple and some singles, seven pitches and one bell tent , which were supposed to be pitched together and were not. The first to arrive were to told to pitch on a hill in a different field to the bell tents, which they did even though it was covered in sheep dung... More

Why is it always the owners fault ,when you have to ask customers to please keep the noise down politely ,then they turn on you and tell you they are going to give you a bad review. This group who have wrote several bad reviews including about the bell tent .They were only one day old when they went in them... My first impressions of the campsite were good, small well maintained site with a nice feel. A caravan area as you enter then a fairly steep gravel track down to a lower camping field with nearby fishing pond. Round the corner is a nice pub that had live music at weekend. Sadly our camping break wasn’t so cheap after we... More

Again review off the same group,I like to feel I give value for money,my camp site is normally a quite exclusive camp site ,Loverly showers those are the words off my customers, there are no extra charges for the showers. The fire pits are £2.50 a night and the wood is £3.50 a bag , but this is seasoned wood. I never... More

Stayed here at the beginning of August with my boyfriend, the tent was decorated beautifully just how imagined however..there was lots of down falls to our trip. There was a party of wedding guests staying in belle tents and the camp site was packed with people, yet there was only two members of staff working their the whole weekend -... More

We've stayed with our camper van on two occasions - one of those with the daughter and grandsons staying in a bell tent. The site was clean and tidy and beautifully situated - Kingfishers fly around down by the river, Charlie the sheep is your best friend if you're carrying bread or biscuits, and two of the hens lay their...
